i dont know much about potato planting or prep but a field today at the back of a house i was working at had 4 jd’s working at the same time big john deere 7R at a guess and on a ridger?and 3 i think stone separators, why do you need 3 ?When they were done another  jd came in and again i think planting the spuds

You need two destoners to keep 1x two row planter going ideally, with three destoners there’s properly 2x 2 row or 1x 4 row working away

I did 2 days many years ago on a destoner , slow old job there was 3 of us all in same field destoning

Never knew one destoner would not be enough Smithy

One properly would be enough if you started 4 days ahead of the planter ,the planter goes quicker so would soon catch up so they run 2/3/4 or more to get field ready quickly so they can get spuds in by end of the day in case it rains

We run 3 destoners and one for back up too. Then I run a 2 row belt planter so it will go 12kph at a push. Destoners sit about 4/5 kph so we can get through 9 ish h/a on a good day👍

Yesterday a jd and subsoiler marked out the outer bout for the sprayer and today the sprayer is here
