smithy
Sprayer controls are a bit awkward to bolt into cab onto the front cab pillar as its right next to windscreen and one slip and its a new windscreen , anyway i cut the bracket away from the rest and welded on a bigger bit of box with a bolt welded in to clamp it up ,had to make this bit twice as i never got it right first time and had to cut it back off and start again . Got there 2nd time so now i have the small bracket bolted on to cab pillar and can be left in place and just slide control box bracket/box inside box/bracket in seconds and do the one bolt up and its in place , took a bit longer to make up than i thought just got to get some black paint to finish it off

Valley Axe Man
Had a bit of a surprise from one of the lads at work, a belated engagement present in the shape of a photo slate, he thought it fitting that we had a momento from the 472's first proper outing on the last day of 2022 when me and Gemma took both tractors up to have an hour with my dad, anyhow not what you expect at 6am in the brew room at work on a Thursday morning....

Valley Axe Man
Had a wander over to the coast at Lytham yesterday with Gemma, called in at Pembertons Farm shop (although Tom wasn't about his dad was, Tom Pemberton farm life on you tube) for a late breakfast, £4 for bacon sausage and egg butty that was cooked in front of you was spot on 👍 then headed down into Lytham, nice couple of miles on the prom walking off breakfast, a crying shame on way back to car though, that this 1060 would have been a tidy thing by the looks of it but salt now taken hold and she getting crustier than a crabs arse......

Aye your right, an old tractor like that will run all day without a battery and drink not a lot of diesel and not much fancy to go wrong apart from the curse of the salty tin worm...
