NewHolland2
Can anyone give the the horsepower ratings for these two tractors please? ;) Thanks for your help Cheers NewHolland2
Gav836
The 80-90 is around 80hp Martin, the 90 series were alll numbered in that way, the first number denoting hp, the second the model range, would guess that the same applies to the 88-94 as well
NewHolland2
Brilliant, cheers Gavin...... ;) Do you know if either of the models had a shuttle for changing direction or if it was purely done by gears mate?
Gav836
Brilliant, cheers Gavin...... ;) Do you know if either of the models had a shuttle for changing direction or if it was purely done by gears mate? The 80-90 would have the same gearbox as our 110-90 being 5 gears on one stick and ranges and reverse on the other, no form of shuttle on them but easy enough and no electronics to go wrong, can't help with the 88-94, if no one else can i can speak to our mechanic at work who spent years working on the tractors, if you decide to go that way i can give you his phone number for advice on what to look for
NewHolland2
Cheers Gavin......Sounds good to me, easy enough to use for loader work too I suppose...... ;)
Gav836
Cheers Gavin......Sounds good to me, easy enough to use for loader work too I suppose...... ;) I used to use the 110-90 on a hedge cutter with no problems, you soon build up the muscles in your left leg with the clutch :D
Tractorman810
i have seen several of these round this way just latly, saw a blue fiat shaped 80 90 4wd that other day,

Just checked an old Classic Tractor for an 88-94 Buyer's Guide and the cab seems a bit cramped like, so probably better with one from the 90 Series...... i have seen several of these round this way just latly, saw a blue fiat shaped 80 90 4wd that other day, Don't see too many around here but one contractor has or had an 88-94, 110-90 in New Holland colours and a F115...... ;)

NewHolland2
dont some of the 80/90 and 88/94 have a shuttle on the lever on the left hand side??? Would be even better for loader work if they did, but I'm not sure...... ;)
nashmach
Most 80 - 90's that I have seen have had a 12 x 4 box with the 88 -94 having a 24 x 12 with a left hand synchronised shuttle.
Dwross
The 80/90 was availible with a left hand shuttle lever down by the seat I don't think it had neutral if I remember. Thre were 2 cab versions one was wider. comfort and supercomfort I think. Power was 80hp David
NewHolland2
Cheers for the info mate......Suppose to get neutral you just put the gears in neutral......Would be better for loading if it had a shuttle...... ;)
allis8550
The only two Fiats I have driven, a 80-90 and a 100-90 , both had the shuttle floor mounted on the left of the seat, can't remember if it had a neutral position though, I think neutral was on the gear lever on the right. The 80-90 was fitted with a loader and the shuttle was ideal for it ,as you could shuttle with you left hand and use the loader joystick with the right. They seemed to be both good basic, reliable tractors with the minimum of electronics.
nashmach
I thought the 100-90 was only available with the 15 x 3 box
