jdc
Couple of pics of a Valtra I had a demo of. 4cyl, 130 hp, huge hyd lift, Fendt front suspension - really gutsy little tractor.

Gav836
Looks a good tractor John, how's it compare to the Renault?
THEBRITFARMER
Looks good John, although the dog seems unimpressed :D
Light Land
Nice picture,as Gav said did it do any thing for you?
jdc
I was very impressed - pulls as well as a 6 cyl, but has this 'boost' system on it which seems to be a bit fussy on when it works. It was on a 4 furr KV variwidth at 17" and had plenty of grip, 11 kph easily. Only criticism was that it was fairly light on front end, but then it's very short. Cab OK but would like to see the 'Advance' with electro. spools and full management system Overall 8/10 Looks good John, although the dog seems unimpressed :D Just noticed that too

jdc
Would stick with the Renault for comfort, Gav - it has the edge on just about everything but the Valtra is a v nice machine.

What speed do most people plough at?
Light Land
8-10kph

I've not yet found one to rival the comfort of the Renault either, drove a TVT175 with all round suspension and couldn't wait to get the Renault back it was so rough riding. 11kph! Blimey, thats a bit fast isn't it. I'd normally plough at about 6 or 7. What speed do most people plough at? I used to plough at between 6 and 11kph as well
Pingu
Nothing matches our renault for comfort even the fendts We normaly aim to plough between 6-12kph seems to suit well if can go anyfaster the plough goes out wider. Very nice looking machines valtras and i think definatly coming up in the world

What speed do most people plough at? 5 kmh with the TM155 on very heavy clay 6f 12in 14kmh JD4755 6f 17in on medium soils the plough doesnt work properly at those speeds but my boss wanted a high workrate
nashmach
Are becoming more popular over here but the cab and only 3 speed powershift are limiting factors now - supposed to be a good loader tractor though
