Psycho Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Just saw this for sale on a German website - never seen one before a MF165 with cab. A bit plasticy but seems to look accurate enough and is selling for 60 euros which is about 40 pounds Its by a company called Scalecraft and might interest a few of the Massey collectors out there...... Psycho Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 PM'd you Mark and forwarded you a bigger picture of it to your email addy. From what I can see it has some form of "Motor" probably one of those friction types..wind them up and watch them fly.. :) the box looks good too and Ive seen the scale - its 1/25 Also looks like it comes in kit form but I would say it clicks together without the drama of glueing your fingers together!! NIGEL FORD Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 One of my books says they're 1/20, the ones I have are cabbed too but I'm pretty sure there are cabless versions too. Electric motor power & yes snap together, again buried deep in the collection room. Quote
Tractorman810 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 there was one unboxed on ebay recentrly but it had a few bits missing which went for 20 odd quid from what i remember , Quote
Lord Ferguson Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Did they do one without a cab at all ? , It may just be so long ago I cant remember properly !! Nigel says they did Tam.. and he IS the Daddy of FTF Quote
Lord Ferguson Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 On seeing photos of it again it rekindled memories I had forgotten , I think i had both of them , but not at same time , I think cabbed version replaced cabless one I lost or broke :'( :'( !! Mee too Tam... I had the cabbed version I am sure if it... never did get ot working "properly" ... some sort of gearing problem I think \ Quote
starbrush Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 i had both versions, years ago, i think you push the gear lever forward to make the motor work. dont think either of mine ever worked properly Quote
