Goodhead Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Was wandering the other day whether a Britains JD loadall is similar enough on the outside to convert it into a massey loadall I haven'nt got the jd loadall so cant compare. any one else know whether this would be a good conversion to do. GPS Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Hi Goodhead, It depends what scale you want? If you don't mind 1/25th, then use the Ertl Bobcat telehandler - it's a straight repaint. The MF telehandler is made at the Bobcat (was Sambron) factory in France, same machine just different colours. This is a conversion I've been meaning to do one day when time allows. Good luck! Quote
Tractorman810 Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 i have a jd3400 i am going to convert to one of these, closest i can find to the shape apart from going down the 1/25 route ,hopefully going to start it soon Quote

1/32 farmer Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 also try looking at the ros merlo it loos very almost the same ????? Quote
FB Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 yeah but the ros merlo isnt the best of models...although it does have the best reach of all the telehandlers i have! Quote
Powerstarâ„¢ Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I have a New-Ray JCB Loadall and the reach on that is good. Nothing like th MF though. Quote
NewHolland2 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Yeah, the New Ray/JCB Junior Loadall has a huge reach. I was surprised when I took it out the box. Mine is however, converted into a CAT TH62 telehandler. Quote
Tractorman810 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 got the grey paint for the tele arm today,so might leave the pig unit for a day or two,and make a start, this wall building is a tedious job i can tell you Quote
