Might be best to get some expert advice on it then Chris but I'd be pretty sure it won't make much of a difference - so have you a Eastern European sprayer for the 250 yet ???:)

It should be ok I hope :) No sprayer of my own yet, maybe do it myself next year if I can find something nice, I thought about a Frazier Agri-Buggy IID or similar as they seem to sell dirt cheap, especially at sales? :-\

Looking great with all those oldies on the field. I hope you have this year a good harvest.

Texas

Thanks :)

looking good mate and that little power harrow did a cracking

job this time

looks promising  ;)

Thanks, I was pleased :)

Frazier Agri Buggy - you do think nice Chris - I bet most are cheap as the pump of the sprayer is wrecked and the mechanics of those are not great :(

So any sign of the Forschitt E524 yet (lots of nice ones in dealers at the moment  ;))

I was kind of hoping to find a nice Agri Buggy ::) Or similar machine such as a small Chaviot or Lo-mark. That or just buy a 2nd hand mounted but I do like the light weight of the buggies.

No Fortschritts yet sadly- I think I would need a little bit more land to justify one  ;)::)

Not bad looking at all - we have a field of spring barley that was sown about the same time and it only looks about the same as that with fertilizer applied :(

Ah but this is meadowland that's had no real crop for 50 years until last year, well if you can call that a crop ::) So I guess/hope there should be some nutrients left that hasn't been leached out yet :-\

Hopefuly will give a pritty good sample now what with the fungi too  :) Looks to be going well now after that rain  ;D

Hopefully :)

chris can i ask why dont you plough that center bit out i nthe filed give yourself a little more area to work with??

Simple answer to a simple question; purely because it's too wet as there was an old ditch there which has never been re-dug, and I don't want to spend the money to have it dug out when the I don't own the field. :) So I just make do..

No East European sprayers then Chris :D :D

Crops looks well if a little short but still plenty of time left ;)

strange, i thought the crop in one of the fields where we just stayed was short to, yet others where way up, hell even a lot of the barley up that way was going yellow, far more than down here anyway

Not a brilliant growing season for barley this year Sean - some even got flattened over here with the rain on Saturday - my neighbour has a 3 acre field and it will be impossible to cut about 2 acres are flat :(
