Deere-est
All photos are here but I have given up trying to post them and get the sizes right http://s142.photobucket.com/albums/r109/Deere-est/Silage%202009%20England/ Here is a selection of the pics starting with the good old 8340 on trailering for a change alongside the Jaguar 840. Next up the TM165 bought this year raking with the 840 behind working the headland into a trailer pulled by the 10,300 hour TM150.

Deere-est
A couple of low sun shots, not sure how they'll look to you guys. One looking down to the farm with the forager in view (farms 6480 on trilaer now) and one looking up to the hill from the farm having tipped my last load for the day. Deere-est
Some of Traci's photos now, same farm - next day. Easy on the compliments, don't want her thinking she is better than me at something :D Me in the 8360 which I have had all season with the 12 Marston trailer taking a load on. 6480 falling in behind me as a leave. Deere-est
Back at the clamp, one of the biggest we do now which is great. TM155 waiting to push and the 4370 aloft rolling. Me coming down the farm drive, in the background are the fields we did the previous day where I took the first couple of photos of the 4370. Deere-est
That's enough of her photo's I think. Flipping know it all. Moving through the season now and the grass is drying fast - hence the airborne grass! Distance shot of the TM155 working the clamp.

Cheers Noel, I won't pass your compliments on! It comes down to her being able to wander around and take the time really. She is pretty handy though I must agree.) Deere-est
Next farm, hell of a story to this day. Just me and the forager on this farm. The farmer put his own 6070 on one of our trailers and borrowed his brothers Fastrac 2135 to put on the other. Another chap with his own Deere 6800 pulled the farmers brand new rake and the farmer did the clamp. Mowing was done the day before with a new Kuhn rear mounted and the 6070. The grass was very very dry, the dryest we have seen. There hasn't been a huge amount of moisture in it anyway but there wasn't much leaf to this either. The Tractor Twitcher
Brilliant photographs Tris, from both yourself and Traci, do like the one with the forager in the foreground looking down to the clamp, theres a similar Claas forager working for a local contractor around here with a fleet of rather nice blue machines running alongside it hopefully i'll come across it in the next week or so with my camera to hand. Deere-est
Yes. .. you are looking at a JS130 on the clamp :D The two 531-70's broke down due to the same oil pipe on both blowing plus the second also blowing the header bottle off the cooling system. The guy with the Deere brought his TM270 down but they didn't fancey wrecking that aswell so went for the fail safe option. After all that. . .. the Kuhn rake split it's splicer joint for one of the rotors after just 40 acres. So they took the shaft off and carried on with one rotor Needless to say we had to wait around for quite a while.
Deere-est
Thanks David There are a few in there I am quite pleased with. Traci struggled a bit with the morning sun, it was very bright and there was no cloud whatsoever. When she was taking photos in the field the sun was shining directly on the machines which has pixelled the edges slightly although at this size you can barely see. She took some crackers in New Zealand too mind. Hope to see more of what you mentioned. .
Deere-est
Looking from the A361 just west of Seend down into the valley. The horizon is the northern edge of Salisbury Plain over the village Easterton (behind the tree line) and the roof tops of Worton (infront of the tree line). John taking no notice of the smoking ban as he throttles the 840 and makes her cough!!
Deere-est
Starting a field of 18 acres west of Seend looking north west over the Kennet and Avon Canal and the industrial units of Melksham in the distance. Last row around the headland. Loving looking field but jeez was it ever rough.
Deere-est
New this year to the guy who does the mowing for the group, a T6070. Normally running a Kuhn front and a Claas rear mower but today was running a a borrowed 10t trailer (as his trailer dropped the securing bolt out of the drawbar springs!) instead of the guy with the TM150. Rood Ashton Hall in the background. Evening sun glinting off the windscreen.
Deere-est
One of, if not my favourite from this bunch. Evening sun again with West Ashton church in the background.
Deere-est
And on to a bit of baling and wrapping. I was on the 8340 raking ahead of the TM165 and brand new BR7070 baler. Not quite done 1000 bales yet! 8360 on wrapping. The HS2000 normally couples on the baler but as we were all free for the day we thought we'd all go for a play. Also gave me time to have a go woth the wrapper.
