An MF30 drill I picked up from a farm and on the same farm from new, this lovely Ford with a three year old sprayer. Nice mix of old and new. The farmer is after a complete cab lining kit for it to bring the interior back to it's former glory. He also had a very late (N reg) TF42 with 20ft table in stunning condition too.

And this one for Mike. .... and the next one for Lee. ... .. and one for me too!!!  :) :) :)

And finally a Belarus I collected that "was going fine yesterday" but had since conked out and had run dry of fuel. I had to bleed it right back to the tank before she'd fire up but once she did, it wasn't a bad old bus. Came with a spare set of wheels and associated mechanical parts.

great pics great mate  8) 8)

although those 500 cabs are surplus to requirement it's still a sahme to see them go for scrap  :(

that MF 30 only looks to need a power wash to get the green off would look nice behind the ford in the spring sunshine

the collins is a good find, not half as good as the KIDD flymax that hasn't rusted out !

re; bedford, not see many of those about either mate , although a few horseboxes are still running as is a tidy ex BASS brewery unit now in blue with upright eminox stacks towing a single axle lowloader for his fordson major & plough about , will see if i cant get a pic of that if i see him at a show

keep taking those pics mate  :) :)

Lovely finds and photographs there. What make was the spreader?

It's a Kidd, Chris. A Fymax model which is another machine that Sean has replicated in 32nd scale. I saw one at Cheffins a few months back which was mint, this one sadly has been weathered a fair bit I'd say. Interesting yard there and Sean, typical mate. I had never seen one before your model and then I see this sat there. Gearbox problem I am told and not a common part so it may be destined for scrap  :-\

Cheers Marcus, yes it's a lot of cabs for the bin, another load is in the yard waiting to go now. Real good ones usually go to Cambridge but sometimes there are just too many to keep in stock and so they just get binned. The TL was infact a horse box as it happens. The box was kept back and put on a Leyland Roadrunner. Hope you get a picture of the Eminox stacked artic mate, that'll be nice!  :of

Well last week was an interesting trip up to Suffolk to a dispersal sale near Woolpit. A big old pig farm which PDC told me all about on my way up.  :)

There was a large amount of kit there, all old and mostly in need of repair but I had a lorry load to collect consisting of two Masseys entered by a neighbour and the farms own workhorse - a TW-25 which had spent 17 years slurry tanking and Quadrant baling. Without further a-do. . .

A lovely old Field Marshall looking quite nice in the sunshine too. And what I was collecting, minus the little Ford. The TW-35 ran sweet as nut straight off the key whereas the other two red ones needed towing and winching on. Some farmers' instruction still present on the TM door pillar.

Loaded up and ready for the off. . .

And if you're due to meet two artics heading into the sale where will you meet them? Yep, in the narrowest part of the lane  ::) Both unladen they kindly retreated for me. ... unlike the ASDA home delivery van who hit a drainage gulley doing at least 30mph an probably smashed every egg and bottle he had on board   as well as causing a sharp brake by me and snapping of a strap securing the TW  :of::)>:(

A few yard shots, a consignment (seven in total) of Ford's went out this week. No work done to them, just a steam clean and a strip to skid and then put in a 40ft container.

Another consignment of 290's ready for the off at any point.

My load the next day for a collective sale, spares, tyres, a cab and a new sprayer and a new mower. I then went on to pick up a 698t, a 698 and new 6ft topper which I strapped vertical to the ramps. My battery in the camera was flat by then though  :(
