Crimping grain is.....

Wheat, barley or oats combined at around 30% h2o(or 3 weeks before normal combineing) with a standard combine,it's then rolled through a mill to just squeeze the pulp out,it's then put into a plastic lined pit and tightly covered, afther 2 mouths you can open the pit up and feed out the sticky seed heads to your stock, all you need is a standard bucket on the loader to scoop the grain up.This form of feed is one of the highest forms of ME you can feed your live stock, but works out to cost about 3x as much as grass pit silage.

This is comman practice in finland and now starting to become popular over here.
