Richard de Florennes
Two pics from two beasts cought today, more to follow tomorrow (got to relieve from a day unfortunately overshadowed by having been cought on a camera myself today; a mobil speed cam hidden in the hedges along a street connecting the 10 miles distance between those two harvesters; cost (including overtaking another car illegaly) will be around the price of a custom built sugar beet harvester ;-)))

Richard de Florennes
Two more of this nice diorama setting (no problem building this diorama; but for the harvester we will have to wait if rumours of this thing becoming a SIKU modell next year will prove right ...) james f
Great photos once again Sascha. Is it common to save the tops like in the second photo in Germany?
nashmach
Great photos once again Sascha. Is it common to save the tops like in the second photo in Germany? You could do that with Armer's in the eighties too - used to be common in the late 70's and put them in a silage pit
Richard de Florennes
Great photos once again Sascha. Is it common to save the tops like in the second photo in Germany? No that is absolutely uncommon here since at least 20 years or so; however some "bio gas" farms have been built in our vincity and they use both silage maize and beet tops for making "biological gas" (do not know the exact English term, do you understand what I am talking about). As this was a rare opportunity to take pictures of such an arrangement, I unfortunately forgot to check my own car's speed according to the rules ;-)
