Deere-est Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Here is my effort for Barbed Wire. Seal wire, electric meters. That's the stuff found around injector pumps and that sort of thing not stuff for catching seals with. 6mm dowel for strainers/corner posts and kebab skewers for the smaller posts inbetween. Each post is mounted by frilling through the board and glueing it into the hole to make it stronger. Quote

Jez Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Ok, I have just been out in the garage doing this. I got the 'wire' from a sewing shop, it is silver in colour and looks quite like wire I think. Hope this helps. The steaks are jsut cocktail sticks stuck in a cardboard box for the time being. Jez Quote
Jez Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 it even looks good i think all pushed up like an old fence?:::: Quote
Jez Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Ok, it's not actually wire, it's thread for sewing, not that i know, i'm a man, grr yeah, beer, women etc. Ha, it does look quite effective though. Hope this helps Pether? Quote
Deere-est Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Not bad Jez, not baaad!! Agree with the scrap pile, a few broken stakes, the right colouring of the wood and that would look good as a tangled mess from pulling out a hedge or something. Quote
