TM190
Well heres the lastest bit of work to it. I dont know about you but I think its stupid that you have to buy 2 models to get a set of forks and a bucket \ \ \ so i made the bucket and forks removable ;D Do you's think it be worth casting them ??? \

Tractorman810
clever idea mate, just wondering, what about casting the actuall bracket on the loader, what you removed the fork prongs from, that way you could make anything to fit the actuall loader via that, the valtra ones are just unscrew the top screws, ,once the bits off, refit the screws , then make a copy of the current bracket, modfiy the point where the screw holes were, so they become hooks?? that way it just hangs over the screws, if that makes sence if you copy the actuall bracket, then you could make any attachment, fom bale grab to muck fork

FW
Yeah, but try and make it a standard fit for as many UH loaders as you can, then you can make a whole range of attachements. ;)

Tractorman810
yeah that bit mate, taht way its a proper connection point if you see what i mean, the pallet forks, bucket ect ect will all come off and leave the loader looking right, and they should be less bulky to, i would imaging the buckets only got hooks moulded to it, so it could only sell if eveyone buys the pallet version, this way they could buy either, as it will fit no probs

Tractorman810
see works every time, recon you could add any attachemt to that then, sheer grad, muck fork, root bucket?? lists endless, all attaching the correct way. at a guess i would say they could fit to the valtra one to looking at that loader and bracket, may be worth looking at if you have one

Thanks Mate :)
Tractorman810
i asume the bottom holes on that bracket are screw held to, ,all i did with the valtra is use a brass rod, to keep it on,

Tractorman810
thats the way mate, worst you may have to do is cast that as the top bit being hole, then cut out the hook, might even be easier that way, otherwise you could get air holes ect arround that point so it wont hold
TM190
It wouldn't be hard to make the hole into a hook if thats the case if they were done in resin
Tractorman810
no same as that one dremmel or file, would prob cut down the wasteg ,as a small hook like that might not form, where as a lump like the bottom one should, more space for the resin ect, if that makes sence
TM190
That one is metal so it was a bit harder to do, But i get you about the resin not being able to form
Tractorman810
the smaller the hole in the mould the less likely the resin is to fill it, i tend to wiggle a bit of fine brass rod arround in the mould just to free ant trapped air in pockets like that, only other way is to invest in a vacume thingy, but they aint cheap,
