rich.new holland
i was always told that barrers like this |/ / / /| were to stop them climbing through the gap
FB
i think i posted a topic up over 6months ago asking about why the feed barriars go / / / / / and i think another reason for it is some that the cows don't waste the silage and the their feed, but i think it's really for dairy cattle so that they don't waste their diet feed and the diet feeder \ i asked that question to a farmer once where me and the wife stayed in the B&B?, cant remember all the details now but its was to do with them sticking their head through, angle was easier to get the head in and out to get food?. She also went on about the cows etc/ being able to lock the barriers somehow, pure accident.....see if i can find the pics, might explain it better as i'm struggling! :D
