  1. only suggested that model as its a similar shape would only be a paint and decal job on the britains vicon round baler
  2. Got to agree with Mark, the round baler would be good, the britains vicon round baler is a similar shape to your uncles welger.
  3. nice model that Paul,I need a 6610 bubble cab 2wd,6640 nh and a 5000 I think for my collection sometime as a farm I know of in sussex had these
  4. finished putting new wheels on a uh claas ares 577 as i robbed the wheels off it for another model, wentto pick it up for some paint touching up and dropped it, cab glazing cracked plus other damage grrr
  5. tidy little ford you have put together Sean, very nice indeed
  6. Its been good following your topic over Harvest Alex, very realistic
  7. top job on scratchbuilding those brilliant toppers and trailer Cerin loads of detail in those
  8. Allways like these extras you add to standard models Paul, slightly different but this week I did see a chap pulling a 3meter Cambridge roller on the road without a transport position kit on it so you could hear him coming a mile away. As for response on the forum,I'm not sure about the like this button feature but then again the forum could just be filled with posts of nice model etc etc if we didn't have that. Some members could contribute more instead of posting up topics then saying this and that is for sale, seems like some use it for there own gain.
  9. oakleys spud planting set up is very impressive, here in south lincs I have seen a few out planting, some growers do winter plough, and then as its fine silt soil some don't destone after using a pto powered bedformer
  10. top top paint job on that tractor unit Cerin maybe aldi will get them in like they did a few years back
  11. brilliant updates always something going on at Oakley farms
  12. nice new trailer Alex,I've not seen a bailey curtain side before
  13. fantastic detail in your farm, all the tools and bits inside the sheds make it as well, top top layout
  14. I will try to make this short, four weeks back my dad takes his freelander to be mot'd had to jump start it again flat battery,5pm get call bring the jump leads wont start on a petrol forecourt,no luck on jumping so managed to bump start it down a hill. next day try hammering starter motor and she fires up fine and has been fine since. Saturday just gone he says come with me to Scunthorpe I'm going to get a newer 4x4 in a franchise dealer, off we set off in morning hammer underseat although hopefully no use for it,test drives new 4x4,salesman and sales manager checks freelander over, they pop the bonnet looking at the coolant and looking for the notorious head gasket problem which it hasn't yet.all the while were watching them in the showroom hopeing the car starts, sales man test drives and all paperwork signed to say car is okay mechanically. My old man agrees to a deal, time to head off home in freelander were parked right outside the main door in to the showroom gets in to it and you'd guessed it she wont start, hells bells and some other choice words were being exchanged what are we going to do? so I try to discreetly to get out with the hammer under me jacket while dad pops the bonnet, no use too close to the showroom then that was it 2mins later 2 salesman are out "whats the problem etc" then sales manager comes out who we haven't talked to of course but only negotiated with through sales man ,after a few mins he said if it only does it occasional and its running fine when you bring back then we still give the same px price which surprised me. Taped the starter and all is fine, the car must of known it was being "sold"
  15. first buy of the year for me , a claas ares 836 to pinch the axles and wheels off it
  16. I only state if a quick payer just to be fair but will do that from now on,postage prices are well overcharged now people want £6-9 for one tractor,I recently sent four 1/18 cars for £11 via parcelforce 48
  17. I hope the worklamp is included in the price on a different subject, why do buyers not leave feedback when they get a bargain, thats packaged well and delivered in 48 hours, cheaper than royal mail prices and other sellers sending prices.Douchebags is what they are
  18. bang tidy models and a good topic to follow, keep on it man
  19. Now you have added the hoses it looks a really good model now, what did you use for the hoses Paul? I know you have said before in another topic but they look the best I have seen
  20. just on the edge of gosberton there is a small farm which grows veg,in there yard parked up was the mf 4215 2wd steep nose which is the three cylinder from that range, and parked opposite was there new 5420 or 30 2wd steep nose which is quite unusual to see a new 5400 which isn't 4wd. Also saw an mf 3070 on a j reg which had a 3 furrow dowdeswell reverseable plough hitched to it,so now these 3 go on to my massey scale model wanted list
  21. got my brother and his tribe staying the weekend, they all gone off stupid shopping. I'm home having to keep his staff terrier which doesn't like cats or anything small which it can chase and kill away from my little ginger cat
  22. thanks chaps, they went for silly money really, way over price
  23. Did anyone see how much that lot of 49 britains drivers went for at all? Forgot to put it in my watch list I'm guessing it went for £50 as I have seen small lots of five or ten go for more than £1 a driver
