Thanks. I’ve not seen that one before in red, must have missed it. Very nice.

Agreed, nice models. What model is the 9190? It looks fairly well detailed.

This arrived last week. Was first published in 2011, but looks like there was a reprint in 2019. Something a little different, but having worked for Case-IH and living in Australia as a child, a must have.....

Those look great Paul. I’ve found I really enjoy building Scaledown kits, I think a Nuffield could be next on the list. -

That's looking tidy Paul! -
I’ve been getting some parts together to have a go at converting a ROS / Imber into an 1184-40. I assume it would be the same wheelbase as the original 8340 6 cylinder?

Very simple little job, but I quite like the finished article. Found an old Britains Fastrac and this Joal one. I preferred the Joal, even though its 1/35th scale. Small spacer made up to sit the sprayer on and printed some Hardi decals out on decal paper.

I also have a pdc MF699 conversion kit for the Britains 2680 to do.
-
That sounds about right.

As part of some model tidying up over the Easter weekend, I pulled this sprayer out. I remember buying it at Spalding some years ago, I'm not sure who it's by, if I remember it was from the table just to the left as you entered the small hall. Does anyone know who that would have been? Anyway, I need to decide on a tractor and then a quick job just to mount it.

Thanks Alastair. Was just going to get the NZG one out off the cabinet and photo them side by side.....just realised my NZG is the 820!

Got the JCB 808 finished off yesterday. Quite pleased with it. I'll add a few more pictures in my collection topic later...…….

Thanks Joe! I know that site .....hadn’t seen Nigel’s work on it. I know he’s also done some other excavators too.

So am I! I also have a Hymac 580 in 1/50th. I’d like to know what else he does.

You posted as I asked!!

Very nice! Are those from Nigel Paine?

Hi Alastair, yes 1/50th.....I also collect 1/50 construction equipment and trucks!

Thanks JEP. I bought it as a kit some years ago.The best way to describe the surface finish is “powdery”, although it’s not loose, just looks that way. The detail is quite “soft”. Undoubtedly the capability and quality of printing has moved on massively. A good coat of aerosol paint helps ! I’d certainly give another one a go. What has surprised me is how much less fragile it is than similar resin kits.
