  2. Not sure if you can see this one clear but it is a price list for Massey-Ferguson Combines and Balers from GEORGE THURLOW &SONS LTD STOWMARKET SUFFOLK with a date of 1965/1966
  3. Massey-Ferguson 400 Combine, two brochures on a Massey-Ferguson 788 Combine and a Massey-Ferguson 31 Combine
  4. Next up is a Claas-Garant Combine,then a leaflet on what Claas does to fight corrosion titled Claas Qualitat and one on the Claas-Senator Combine
  5. I am not a big brochure collector but a few years ago got given a box full only now really looking at them first up is a Claas-Mercator Combine and a Claas Matador Standard
  6. Two views from my back garden this morning, snow not as bad as it looked last night when trying to drive in it wind was blowing strong last night as bits of trees lying around ,very cold out there at the moment
  7. not martyn but my 72 year old mate Eric that's got the fire-wood business since he had his stroke 2 years ago he not got much feeling in hands an fingers so cant do the fiddly jobs changing light bulbs gas bottle connections and stuff but can still hold chain-saw and use sawbench so most Thursday nights I go keep him company for a couple of hours and that way you can keep a eye on him as he lives alone and yes he makes me a drink coffee not tea
  8. Its now 7-30pm and we have a good layer of snow road outside mine is covered hope we don't get too much more in next few hours as I now have to pop out to a friends house and make sure he is ok and change his gas bottle on his stand by heater

  11. The wife's friends live at the Holbrook Lodge which is at the entrance to the private girls school on the way to shotley and where they keep they horses they told me that somebody from Essex had some cattle down there which I put 2an2 together and thought it must be you
  12. Started the McCormick up today to keep the battery's topped up then the wife said she will take it for a drive round the village
  13. I was asked by the solicitor and the Exeter's to the will of some land that I rent if I could put some antifreeze in the two tractors that remain on the farm and get them in the shed ,well I did the 474 but the 414 when I found it I just let the water out will do that one another day
  14. Cold very windy with light snow flurries mixed in with the rain down here in my part of Suffolk ,I now other places have it worse than I do so cant complain
  15. We all loos the spark at sometime Mark ,and as they say a change is as good as a rest . At least you can still pop in and out of the forum when you like not like some that have chucked in the towel of late ,you don't have to be building/converting models all the time to join in as you often make me smile with some of your quotes and funny pictures you put up look forward to your next ones Greengrass ,or MadMark or what ever .
