  1. He has got about 3 miles of hedge to trim back over the Christmas break the cutting head is on hire so needs to make full use of it the Fiat-Hitachi is his own machine
  2. Went and had a look at my neighbour cutting back some overgrown hedges this morning

The neighbour that I help sometimes on sugar beet had planed to lift some of his own beet today but we have had a bit to much rain overnight so after once round the field it was decided to stop and try again tomorrow . If you go on youtube and put in UK AERIL PHOTOGRAPHY there is two clips of these machines working under the heading of T430 harvesting beet in Suffolk

Myself and my mate are stripping down a J/D2040S as it belongs to another mate and he accidently put the wrong antifreeze in it and it affected the sealing rings round the liners so all the water went strait into the sump, what a mess its set like custard going to take some cleaning up just hoping now that it has not marked the crankshaft
  7. I will check serial no one day as I have 3 old brown log books that I found when sorting some of my late fathers stuff out they could belong to them . As for the high major I am sure it was registered when new thanks for reply smithy

My E27N is petrol/tvo wheels have been cleaned up and sprayed with new tires fitted all round next job is to paint the rest blue and fix a small leak on tvo tank taken it for a run in the past but the last year it has stood over Martyns next to his fathers e27n ,it has electric start/lights and smiths hydraulics fitted ,first registration on 14-11-1951. I also have a fordson diesel major age unknown and a power-major also age unknown but have both been on the farm for as long as I can remember ,both are at the back of a shed and was runners when put there several years ago but both need restoring which I will do one day

Got a busy day ahead as of in a few minutes time to deliver 8 chickens then back to farm as got 10 more people coming to pick up birds, also my mate should be round by 9am as he is going to make a start on stripping down a engine in another mates JD tractor that's in my barn ,we think he has put the wrong antifreeze in it and its had a reaction with the O-rings round the liners so its a head-off pistons out job today and clean up over the Christmas break
  12. Look forward to updates I plan on getting my own E27N home in the new year as the shed I have built is finished just need to build a work bench in it
  13. I sent some pictures last week to two different members last week by PM and then after that when I went back to ordinary posts to quote the pictures would keep coming up took about 3 days before I somehow got rid off them same as what you are saying Sean

  15. Delivered this beam today for Barking Forge it weighs 600kg and we was expecting to have to unload it by hand and try to carry round the site by hand but when we got there they had hired a teleporter must be my lucky day
  16. Welcome to the forum look forward to reading you posts on farm models and maybe the odd bit on real farm machinery that you may use
  17. That looks a nice strait little tractor most of them with front loaders fitted are bashed in on the front
