    Harvest

Now for a lot of our tighter sheds this year we've been trialling this elevator which also helps stop grains being crushed etc by pushing up as just places it where it's needed can shift 18 tons in 5mins

    Harvest

Well this season we are now running a Claas 580+ on a 35ft front which was bought to replace the 600 and we've hired in a NH CX8090 with 30ft and the 2 NH T6080 for running the 18 tonners

    Harvest 2010

A few taken recently by my better half will make album soon
  13. Well we've sat both side by side in the same field or as good as and the only thing that came close is the NH CR9090. How do those 2 words not fit Claas had a S690i here last year and its horrendous, didnt like the cab, output was nothing amazing and only good thing was GPS. All demo's were set-up by the manufacturer and they stayed with it to keep it 100%. Its my own personal view and you've not agreed with my views on JD tractors either so need I say more
  14. Well least these new models confirm that claas really are the leaders in Combines when comes to output, comfort, technologie and dealer back-up pity 770 hasn't any massive difference over a 600 but then no-one can keep up with one anyway. We've tried everyone and 600 was still ahead of all

Every Fendt in the UK well certainly big 900's and 800's are imported like this then fitted by dealers as are normally fitted with bill bennet pick-up hitches which are of course UK origin.
  17. Ah ok not used a tracking drawbar so can't comment what they like for forces sorry gav but not been to impressed with mine at all only on the very best of wheat crops and when its short does it work tried it on beans today gave up and went back to manual. It is brilliant on stubble and early stages of the year though
  18. A CVT gearbox with no engine braking ability at road speeds is a joke when every other manufacturer says you can and a lot fitting exhaust brakes with them. Our dealer even said if we have gearbox faults caused by slowing dearbox down any evidence of it ever happening, we wont get any warranty from deere as there not backing the box anymore! And its now sounding very unhealthy mainly caused we think by heavy work on plough last year
  19. Stop being so lazy gav I haven't used mine in 4 months plus and over 6000 acres so stop whinging there more a pain at this time when crops this height as on mine has a tendency to slam booms on ground one side when gets confused by the height crop so would happen a lot on spuds going by this happens on even wheat crops :D

    tracks for a day

We have autosteer on it but its fact we run on a 24m headland and 8m drill still dont have alot of room to turn, even a loose one then gottta make sure your on right bouts for tram lines and as because I'm sprayman I dont have full GPS fitted just autosection ;D
  22. Pingu

    tracks for a day

Min-till or big plough but never seeding as we have compaction half moons on headlands where we drilled with challenger from turning at speed. So had to have cultivator chasing it on headlands so didn't get it on rest ground so now this year all drilling is being done with a Case 9370 on 900mm tyres might be tweaked thought to do 18+k with 8m vaddy

    L200 Turbo

Don't know if anyone on here has had one go but mine went today while trying to move house so needless to say wasn't over joyed Has anyone had to repair them and if so how complicated is it? I will fit whole new turbo or second hand one as it will be sold when its fixed unless someone offers me good price as she stands now as struggle for time really at the moment to fix her! Its a late 04 plate with 2.5tdi engine in
  24. The L200 blew the oil seal and bearing in the turbo with a new turbo looking at £700+ :'( just when moving house perfect so harvest money gone already! Its gonna sit there now till I fix it then its GONE!
