    My week

Well I've been back at work for last 10+ days before go full time and leave college in 2 weeks ;D Well got there weds afternoon and jumped on bowser and help them do 720 acres in 13hours And then I did some more T2 spraying on the Turs afternoon with some bowsering in morning so I got used to using it Then after bank hol weekend of topping on quad had togo do a glider field with a nice bit of overkill and yes that is 300hp on a 4.5m topper I am now discovering North essex is far from flat heres pics of the flatest field of 250 acres spring barely on a farm with a fair few reducing 75 to it's knees and from 17k to 3k up the hill :o At the yard on one the contract farms with a well worn PTO shaft after the local deere engineers having updated the software on computer for the beacon but didnt adjust the hydraulics so at 100% it was really 70% and wiped out the shaft and caused damage to gearbox was not happy and there paying for new gearbox and shaft (wasnt me driving was day before i arrived)
  5. Always great reading this topic luke, to see whats going on in the world of silage being on arable side things all year even I admit would like to do some more silage :D

  10. Aye he has bought another one which amazed us all but according to mate likes flexibility it gives him the only difference is this time its not on ag tyres and has gps. They have been silaging around home farm all fields nearby finished them weds then if weather holds starting on great lodge Monday and this could well be last year there as alot rumors that there not carrying on with great lodge :'(
  11. Telehandler has taken over all roles here along with the quad bike being used around stables as dont need 180hp and 25ft flat bed to move 10 bales :D
  12. Erm well apart from college doing silage. Saw few bits kit too local contractors cougar and some there carting tractors mainly deere 6930's tris will know who it is
  13. Great pictures of a lovelly tractor
  14. Me or the driver :D But great pics mate love one of the 65 at night with beacons going for unbeknown reason I love night shots machinery might be cause my favourite time to work
  15. Back to work next weds bit of spraying, topping and other odds sods thrown in to keep me busy Lets hope get to take the Claas 697 back onto normal wheels and give it some stink on hauling and see how much difference chipping it to 180hp has made :D
  16. Well we have 2 of these at work one goes straght into the steering system while the other turns the wheel with a motor and as far as can gather from the boss he rates them highly! Accuracy is very good but I'm not sure what accuracy he has. As you can understand the system wired straght into the steering stays there permantly but switches between Combine and Claas 697 but thats just the monitor nothing else everything else stays put and steering one can be moved not bad to do as was previously on artic till moved to magnum. But looks like you are looking at the light based system which is very good as start off basic system if isn't gonna be used all the time
  17. Only around 8 weeks or so till the combines will be rolling again were aiming for 8th or so of July :o this years going fast
  18. Local contractors are lifting first true amount on monday having had little bits here and there clear ups for maize ground. Found this out after he asked me today to come work for him for summer when I asked back in november for job and took him this to sort out his summer staff and wanting them to start in 10days short notice to say least
  19. Wish I could mate but subsoiler's too big and plough hasn't moved in over 2 seasons :'(
  20. Good to hear :D I can't wait to get 75 on the 6m and 18ton trailer having been on the sprayer since new i dont think doing her much good :'( :'(
  21. Snap well with a 7 and a magnum and always interesting to say the least when coming up to the headland and your looking at the blue sky But he must either be desperate to get that ground under with other tractors elsewhere or trying a demo thats too small
  22. Amazing pictures cerin that Fendt 936 has got me drooling :D But really think he needs to put more weight on front as can't be putting power down at the moment
  23. Nice fleet then luke How finding 30 series for compared to 20's as on my 75 i wasnt amazed by its poke but it could because still being worn in (100hrs)
  24. Great update mate and good to see you back on here again :) Have you got one of the new 6530's im guessing? What will the 7530 be used for? And all same gearbox? I look forward to the silage updates with having no access to silage i work always good seeing it going on
