  1. Looks very interesting mate and rather complicated but should make your life easier! But discovered were getting demo's this summer from most brands so have to compare notes little bit higher in hp stakes but notes be along same lines
  2. Well that looks a lot nicer then JD gav as you know I clocked 1200hours on one last year its a nice tractor don't get me wrong but its already 5 years out of date cabs c*** the suspension is worse then Claas just with cab suspension and were forever having niggles with it put it this way I'm thinking putting plough on hire NH this year! I know I will get bashed by JD lovers for saying that but that's truth and I have spent a lot time in Fendt cabs and there better. Joy stick looks scary I dont think so and wont have any less electrical problems then a command arm Deere or Fendt joystick. Sorry but Deeres are outdated and way overpriced

  5. I've heard of a few sore Jd sprayer owners after tipping over there 4000L models or being very very close! Or perhaps they should design them so that they don't tip over every other manufacturer has But does look very smart still tho though mate what still got front tank for?
  6. They were back in July when I picked one up sean well just outside Ipswich not to sure exactly where Nice pictures though Gav

Well both nice tractors and for the price the magnum is leagues ahead and will always be my first choice but is bit more then 50hp there's 100hp difference. It was chipped but caused to many reliability issues on magnum so been disconnected been on it all day today and air cons packed up :'(

Well thought update few pictures from over winter and update were now running 3300 acres with few machinery updates mainly new sprayer for me well new to us its 05 plate still very nice, pictures later on . For harvest were running a hired in NH CX8090 on a 30ft header which I'll be driving for 1000 acres then it goes back and 2 NH 6080 being hired for bulk haulage with ours being back up. Was moving some wheat about and getting subsoiler ready to be sold
  14. Amy liked them mate Was your old berthoud only 4 section as well? Mine was 6 sections new sands is 7 thank god for auto section control has just been fitted to it
  15. Very smart sprayer there though mate what you think of it? Is it a 24m? If so I'm amazed at only 4 sections for the whole out fit but box looks easier then the Sands to understand

I'm just saying what I've learnt and what me and my bosses have discovered we have never had any troubles with subsoiling and worms only doing it in conditions that allow! It wouldn't have been possible for us to do anything in last 4 seasons if we hadn't got on at times combine and everything sat still so got to get it done we try and help by running tracks and everything on large tyres but got to decide to get on and do what's best for yields and everything overall And before you blame the ploughing the pan is caused by smear of point and wing on some of our ground

A plough-pan is a layer of compaction and we personally find the worst 'pans' are on fields that have been ploughed we have plough pans at ploughing depth, none fields were ploughed in wet conditions all bone dry and tractor ploughing on land so no smearing that way. Min-till is often referred to as minimum amount passes on a field moving soil that is only required and we have tried direct drilling but we had the best and worst yields off it so we've tried many systems with best being with topdown which works down to a max 8-10 inches any more and subsoiler is called in which is only after wet years where as you say get compaction from heavy traffic. More often then not compaction in top layers can be removed with direct drill on its pass if needed. Normally moving top few inches in min-till is all thats needed and can remove pans and any little compaction needed. What I was saying plough shouldn't need to be used to remove pans it's too inefficient and cause more harm then good in some situations remove all good min-till has done. A subsoiler should help aerate soil which air will soon help soil condition and will not destroy worm populations like a plough.

We plough, well ploughed 800 acres last year to try and get rid of blackgrass but unfortunately it didn't work in fair few places so my spraying workload hasn't got any lighter really :'( and the rest of our ground last year another 1700 was min-tilled. But anyone that use's a plough to remove any pans is a twonk and there operators need teaching as need to vary depths a little every year so don't get a pan! Thats what subsoilers are for! We run a 6m vaderstad topdown and don't have problems with pans off it and plough creates more of a pan to start with anyway
  20. Out of interest why they get rid the Fendts for deeres? Everyone will know what I'll say now mad men they'll regret it :D

It was really best thing to happen to it but been easier if happened 3 days later but we hope the 580+ coming is as good as they promise. But the 7530 is nice to drive but having few troubles mainly with oil leaks on it but one thing is for sure on them they can be thirsty when drinking hard I feel
  22. We all have one tractor or a couple that when look back and miss either place were we worked, the time it was or because it was one tractor you enjoyed driving the most. Lets all show the tractors that make us smile and reasons Well mine has got to be my old Fendt 818 vario TMS i got on her back in 2007 when starting working full time on local farm on my gap year from college. It is to date the nicest tractor I've ever driven with only thing as nice is a 936. I did nearly 2000 hours in her in the 15 months i was there and was spot on lovely to drive and would pee all over my current 7530. But my 7530 i like for different reasons mainly for many a nice summers evening spent chasing combine this year with better half by side

Some you may find this interesting this is how were drilling our beans this year off our topdown after bit playing about but coulters on back of each leg with it being piped from the front tank mounted on challenger we have now got 2 distribution heads on back as there was too much back pressure in the system. Here is our normal drill 8m Vaddy with best day this year was 250acres in pouring rain so reckon could do 300 in 11hrs
