  1. Got this unboxed from ebay and I presume its a FTF model am I correct?
  2. I also managed to get this joblot of parts from Facebook. It's got some good bits in it that will be handy down the line. I thought it was odd to see the loading shovel cabs so had to have it . If anyone spy's anything the need to sort a model please give me a message and we could organise a swap
  3. I Have been lucky enough to stumble on some less common bits this last while. White transit van in ok condition its got a couple chips and the box is bashed but it was an OK price. Green valtra in nice condition however the steering wheel is broken for some reason (don't think the tractor has been apart so not sure how that happened) also picked up these older implements as I wanted the bale elevator. one of the more lucky and rare finds was this joblot of bits with the most important windows for my britains cardboard farm house. If anyone has the door or another window give me a message please.
  4. They all have the same bed lorrys, blue, red, green and the yellow trailers are all the same
  5. Makes for a tidy rig not sure how import tax works for Australia now? I had bought a 1.64 Road train around that time aswell.
  6. Some new bits one of John gibsons fraser mill and mix (it's excellent) and managed to get an original cab for my volvo. The tractor itself is mint but didn't have a cab this cab is fairly batterd but its better than no cab
  7. Although your kit does give you a nice bit of an in-between yes it's it's kit but you still have to put effort into it to get a decent end result
  8. It's something a little more special at the end of the day. But there's definitely a place for the mass produced and the 3d printed. Long story short everything has its place and its all down to personal preference. I also like the mentioned idea of a British replicagri ! Just imagine all the odd bits you could get.
  9. It also comes down to preference doesn't it. For example you could go out and buy a perfectly good table that was made in a factory / by someone using power tools or you could buy the same table made by somebody from scratch with hand tools. Sometimes it's nice to have something that's been produced using someone's raw skills.
  10. I'd say the 'conversion' standard has changed the most 2006 sorta era when i first joined the forum people selling 'conversions' were selling models with loaders added, wheels changed, 2wd models, full cut and shunt models just a vast selection of styles. Now it's more common to see a repaint job (nothing wrong with this either) or like you've said a more specific customisation (certain stickers lights aerial horns etc to replicate a personal tractor) the 3d printer has certainly changed the market but its also made getting some more unique models a tad more obtainable. And also the model kits have been an excellent addition to the hobby. Especially for people who haven't commented to buying all the stocks of plastic and brass etc needed to do a scratch build. I don't think we will ever run out of models to make. Likely will see more variations of older casts coming back into production. Hopefully the hobby doesn't get much more expensive.
  11. Just an interior detailing spray they are designed for plastics and metal some work on glass as well so it's perfect for models
  12. Much like the blue power t7300 or whatever it is that 6r looks a very tidy model both will look ace will a little work
  13. Managed to pick up a dominator 85 to keep her younger sister company
  14. Same. I'd like a standard one but was also nice to get something from the RSPCA line. £10 and in fair good unboxed condition
  15. Bunch of bits from a guy on Facebook (same guy I got all the 1.64 bits from) mostly for my son but I'll hold onto a couple bits managed to swap a marge 4wd Q cab ford for this 2wd SQ cab 5610 so that was good as I didn't actually want the 4wd one but it's the only one I could get. And a 3640 to try complete the set believe I need a 3040 but I need to check. Oh and if anyone has a spare beacon from a siku farmer plus 6920 I'd like to buy it please
