  1. thanks Berry thanks tractorman810 I know Henri, order quite often Britains parts from him. and we share a passion for the big blue models.. i was hoping though to get replica's from originals as a good SOS Hubley decal to photograph is quite difficult.. i have one more SOS model, but that has some damages to the decal
  2. this tractor was for the american market as the TG305 was too (T8040 in europe) and now a T6070 is also available in america. (all 1:32) and TG275 also? I order almost all NH tractors from a US contact. and get the European 1:32 models at the national toy show. New Holland has revised their series to a new series numbering system.. T1000-series.. for the better known T6000, T8000 and T9000(former TJ-series) were former TJ, TG, TN, TS , TL etc.. It is quite frustrating as i first thought this was just another Tx-series in the line and now have to divide this NH series in many different new series, and it was already so hard to keep up. this naturally means that ERTL is finally going to make more Ford and NH models to go along with the "new" line of tractors
  3. What else could i ask for than another Fordson tractor.. preferably the Fordson Dexta in 1:16 or a Ford 10-series would be great..
  4. i have somehow gotten a JD book.. and got to get rid of it It is a 128 pages book with loads of pictures in b&w and colour about the John Deere General Purpose tractors. the tractors described date from the beginning until about the end of 1950. very nice detailed book. but here is the trick.. As i am a profound Ford collector, i was hoping i could somehow trade this book with someone for a Ford tractor book that i havent got.. If interested, let me know
  5. i stumbled accross this.. WOW.. i only started collecting brochures for a few months now and probably have not more than 100 in total.. now i have to cancel my New Zealand vacation so i can pay for the other 1000 or so brochures out there.. any idea how to break the news to my (ex?)-girlfriend? i'll blame you naturally as you have gotten me addicted now to expand and expand and expand.. LMAO thanks for setting a goal for me now.. maybe i should contact Jack about his brochures.. or better not as i am already buying 20 brochures on ebay as i speak.. anyways.... keep on the good work and tremendous collection of brochures and collector books you have got there!!!!!!!!! something to be proud of!
  6. Hello, does anyone know where i could possibly get decals for the following tractor 1:12 scale Hubley Ford 901 Select-O-Speed the decal should read Ford Select-O-Speed. the Ford 901 Powermaster is available at Dakotahtoys.. but although they have listed the decal i am looking for, they dont offer it for sale anymore.. can anyone help me with this?
  7. although being a Ford man, i actually have one for sale on ebay.. they go for crazy prizes over 130 pounds.. Naturally this model is made according to a very detailed and well communicated way. Similar to the way the Dutch LCN model tractor for 2007 (Belarus) was made. just like the real thing. only for display use. absolutely not a playtoy. wish more 1:32 scale models were made like these.. (preferably Ford ).
  8. to reply on a few posts thanks Barry, sorry to have introduced a couple unknown Ford's to you.. I hate it when that happens to me and i have even more on my wishlist \ I have about 2 display cabinets. in one of them all the Fordsons are displayed, the other contains my New Holland combines. I also have some home made show cabinets that are way to full. Regretfully i am not able to show them all. The Versatile collection and all the trucks and banks etc. are currently in a closet as well as the huge 1:16 articulated tractors. In the future i hope to refurbish a complete room for my collection so i can display all the models and memorabilia and brochures i have gathered. Luckily my girlfriend found it ok and i do keep all the boxes. With rare models i try to keep them in the boxes, but mostly out of the boxes. about 85% of the models have boxes with them that i store separately cause it would take toooooooo much space..
  9. such a rare model as the Doe with it's limited numbers of 500 will only increase in worth..certainly when people have been drooling over the wide available 5000 that is coming from UH. I see some strange additions to your mostly Ford collection Whenever i see a white box with fragile stamped on it, i have to think of a Danbury Mint model.. am i correct and if so, is it the Ford 2000, Ford 8N or the Fordson F ?
  10. hey,.. i found your collection.. great stuff you have got.. although the wrong colour.. i'll forgive you the 688 ismy favourite when it comes to the massey's. and glad to see you got them larger scale tractors in your collection too.. those are much more impressive than those little 1:32 scaled models.. keep adding..even if it means your hands are going to be chopped off.. got to make some sacrifices i do like your display cabinet.. maybe someday when i get my own house, i will have a room to be able to finally display all of them.. (thank God my girlfriend lets me have one ).
  11. thanks Deere-est (great name btw.). yeah, a lot of time was spent on that site. i am lucky enough to have a girlfriend who is good at webdesign which of course helped The TJ-series are pretty good. but also expensive.. and getting more expensive by the day it seems. I got one in 1:!6 scale.. which is awesome.. (AND HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!) I collect originals yes. i dont collect conversions as there would be no end to it anymore.. Also small series of atleast 250 are in my interest.. liking every minute on here with fellow collectors who share this great hobby of collecting farm models
  12. they are definately 1:12. There is actually a story about this. Henry Ford asked ERTL to produce a model of his tractors. And when ERTL came up with their 1:!6 scale models. He found the Ford tractors to be looking to small. so especially for Ford, these tractors were made in the larger 1:12 scale so the toys would be looking more impressive.. (and the buyers of the future would remember those models that sticked out from the rest. I have the complete 1:12 Ford ERTL collection. you can find all the other information about every specific model on these pages on my website : http://www.fordcrazy001.com/collection.php (check out the Ford category 1000-series. ?600-series and TW-series for all 1:12 scaled models by ERTL)
  13. i am searching for this one too.. but should be on ebay in a few months for less costs than the 47 dollars it was for. including shipment you will be looking at nearly 75 dollars is my guess. so if you could get it cheaper in the UK, i would do it. (if you are interested to keep your collection complete, and not look at the detail it offers. ) ERTL brought out two more models that are more detailed. The dealer edition T7040 and the Collectors edition T7050. But they are also twice as costly.
  14. thanks.. i havent checked marky's collection yet.. but after the remark about being his Ford version, i'd better check and yes, i ordered like 30 of those great models. and well.. i just don't have the room to display them all so a few will change hands am counting the days
  15. thanks. I have the news about a US version of the Ford 5000 from a US contact too.. It sounds pretty much like i tought. that the mudgaurds will be more like the ERTL precision Ford 5000. thanks and keep my up to date if you would..
  16. thanks all. Great to see you too on here Denis, Murray and Udimore(i am pretty certain i bought a blue one from you a while ago on ebay.. ). to answer a few questions.. my favourite model is.. oh heck..make that ARE 1. Ford 5000 Ernest Doe 1:16 UH 2. Ford Jubilee 1:12 Product Miniature 3. Fordson major 1:16 Chad Valley 4. Fordson major 1:20 Empire Made 5. Ford 641 workmaster 1:16 ERTL precision It is hard to choose from so many great models but i have a preference for the larger scale detailed tractors. i have a top 10 of models i am searching for.. those have priority.. http://www.fordcrazy001.com/searching.php and i will keep that Ford banner rolling . i'll colour the world blue if i had the chance http://www.fordcrazy001.com/collection.php
  17. i know about the Ertl precision line in 1:16 scale. own them all. and in all fairness.. the Universal Hobbies 1:16 models are as great if not better. but the best Ford precision are from Danbury Mint. If you have ever seen their Ford 2000 or Ford 8N you know what i mean. well, if you find anything out about it, i reaaaaalllllyyyy would like to know
  18. Hello I am Wil and am a big time fan of the Ford tractors and anything that had to do with the Ford concern. My collection expands quite a bit(. From the old Fordsons to the Ford and later on New Holland and also the by Ford acquired articulated manufacturer Versatile. I collect all scales.. from 1:12 up to 1:87. i really wouldnt know how to get the whole collection in a few shots as i am not even able to display all items (lost count..ha ha!..) but if you wish to have a rough view of it, you can check my collection website www.fordcrazy001.com , in the "About" section you will find a couple of pictures of my collection as it is displayed. In the "collection" section each model is photographed and categorized i would love to hear about what you think about it and naturally hear from other Ford enthusiasts and farm toy collectors... on page 2 i have started with sharing photographs of my collection on a "type" bases (Ford 40-series, 60-series, New Holland TM series, Fordson F etc.etc.etc.. when i have completed that task(it will take weeks), i will update the type-pictures regularly when new models have arrived.
  19. very nice collection.. got some rare and great models in there.. Don't you love the UH Ernest Doe Ford 5000 too? i payed big bucks for them, but was worth every penny keep on collecting. (just love the blue colour and am sticking with it.)
  20. You could be right. i have that ERTL precision too and it is a superb model. a later model than the one UH is using for their european version. my guess is that the mudguards will be square and the front grill will be changed a bit. but i am not sure as i havent found any information on this model yet.
  21. i had my eyes on these since i saw a hong kong version on ebay (i know a seller that sells unboxed UH models way before they come available..) but dont seem to find a reasonable priced one yet. certainly not 45 pounds... any idea where i can get one for that price? would absolutely be a great addition to my collection
  22. From a US contact i have been told that Universal Hobbies will release a Ford 5000 European and US version. model nr. 2704 and 2705 if i am not mistaken. i am curious about the differences if there are any.. or if this was bogus? I do own a Ford 5000 Ernest Doe limited edition from UH which is probably the same as the european edition except for the great display plate and certificate of being a low numbered release etc.. bla bla bla (pictures, check my site www.fordcrazy001.com (collection Ford 1000-series part ). But if it looks anything like that.. i am one of the first to buy it.
  23. Sure would be nice to get a Ford or NH precision in 1:32 scale for a change. The last Ford precision (1:16 scale even) was from 2002 so id say that we have had to wait too long already
  24. hmm.. i believe i have read on a different forum site that britains would be releasing a 1164 county.. Dont believe they would actually mind a screw up in length of the casting as there have been soooooo many examples in the past where 4 and 6 cilinder tractors were equally long ..
