  1. i'm in love ... wow, i just........................ love them blues great sightings.. used to drive a 6710 on the farm like the 7710.. fond memories.
  2. * drools * , that american 5000 looks stunning. drove a 5000 UK version up to a few years back. with a little more power than normal gosh, how i miss plowing with that great tractor
  3. i have no idea, as i said, bought it yesterday from one of my american friends and it's on its way to me.. this is what i have found about it... catalog nr. 45018A-Gun
  4. i am very sure it is in the wrong box! the TW's were sold in open boxes. the box is of the 8630! there is most likely a number on your box which says 830 while the Ford TW5 catalog nr. is 881. and you will need to keep it for a long time in your collection before it will rise in value as it is one of the most mass produced ERTL models of Ford, I believe. but it is nice with the Ford 8730 by Britains and the 8830 by Siku and the 8830 by britains and the 8630 by new ray all in 1:32 scale
  5. i bought one yesterday * is so ashamed to have cheated on my precious Ford's * i'll probably sell it again as JD is just not my type of tractor. btw.. 250 were made in gun metal! and i believe it was 630 pounds in spalding for the gun metal! (and 1000 pounds for a gold edition of which only 28 were made if i am not mistaken). however mine will go to the first that dares to offer 550 pounds
  6. I know a hong kong based seller on ebay offered one already! which are mostly about 2 months earlier than the general release date.. i cant find the auction anymore, but it was with this seller http://stores.ebay.com/darlingland He also sells the newest releases by UH in 1:43 scale which are not yet known..
  7. great looking box.. and i wished they packed them always without those blasted wires. the model is also very nice. good realistic detail, except for the hitch(i hope that will change with Britains/Ertl in the future.) looking forward to the 1:32 scale Farmall 140 that is coming(maybe that is one of the classics that RC2 Britains was talking about?)
  8. i bought the Gun metal one yesterday (part of the 2500 are in gun metal.. 250 i believe) but have not received it yet, so have to form an opinion before deciding if i am going to sell it again or keep it.
  9. if you are going on Saturday, you probably will. i'll be there the whole day of which the afternoon in the Forum stand. (i managed to convince my girlfriend to make it a weekend out. apparently it is close to York (or something like that) and we'll go there on saturday and i'll go on sunday to spalding and hope to distract the lady with a bookmarket or store .
  10. helly Johnny, maybe you can go next April too (i am going). would be nice to meet a Dutchy in England beside me, myself and i. (and the oh so not needed girlfriend that will look at me like this every time i open my wallet (which will be often i think).
  11. noted! and thanks for the pictures (forgot that..was too much in shock of all those great pics of :o ) fantastic (now on my wishlist) models
  12. there is a puddle on the floor.. from drooling Good God, good thing i wasnt there.. i would be completely broke before Zwolle.. was that the UH Ford 5000 1968??? and the JCB loader, wasnt that going to be a combi with a Fordson Major and a frontloader? awwwww... and brochures, and mugs etc, and books, and DBP models, and G&M Dexta's and.. and ... and... and... and.. :o :o :o :o :o
  13. i wasnt able to arrange everything in such short notice to get there. but if i get the date for the April show, i'll be booking a weekend closeby so i can drop in.. Got to get my hands on one of those Siku Ford Spalding show tractors and what better way than to collect them in person . 2 bad my girlfriend wont let me go unless we made it a long weekend away less to spend on new models
  14. great collection. that is quite a bunch you moved to the lot. still hoping to add those impressive DBP's to my collection too, but it is difficult to reach David by mail..
  15. you have a very nice collection of blue's glad to see another fan. kinda jealous on your Ford 7000 FTF models
  16. do it anyways, or get blue NH paint.. great idea!!!!!!!
  17. the picture of the american version is in fact the 1:16 scale Ford 5000 from 1968. There will be an American version (3 versions in total!!!) too. what you have now are the released 1964-1967, the other picture is of the 1967 version and there is as of yet, no picture of the American version. I do have a catalog number ; 2797!!
  18. i certainly didnt. i have seen that there are 2 more 1:16 Ford 5000 versions coming. (5000 1967 (the one that is available now is the 1964-1967 model), and an american version. You have seen this one from a hongkong seller on ebay? as often they are way faster with new coming models than anyone in Europe. In fact, i have already seen a 1:43 Fordson N that hasnt been released yet, but i have seen 2 months ago.
  19. yep, i'll be at the stand saturday afternoon of the Dutch Forum. (recognizable as Wil Zoetekouw) and in the morning i'll be scooping around carrying heavy boxes with 1:16 scale models Now if the members of FTF will make sure they are recognizable , i'll say hello
  20. I did build a Scaledown Fordson Dexta 1963 myself a month ago, as it was an exact replica of the first tractor my father owned, but as a rule i do not collect kits too as there would be no end to it.. However i am still hoping for a UH Fordson Dexta as they seem to do all the Fordsons and are reasonably priced...
  21. I do know of the Scaledown and G&M farm models 1:16 scale models of the Dexta, but am hoping for a Britains or UH model. If i am not mistaken, Scaledown offers kits? which i dont collect(have to draw a line somewher or it will be impossible to have a complete collection(one can dream )).
  22. Hello Erik you have an amazing collection. i believe you were in the Agritoy a few editions back with your collection. i love 1:16 scale too and think that a few of the models i own, came from you of which one is the Ford 5000 precision which is one of my favorates. what NH articulated 4wd is that on the shelf? i recently bought the 9384 1999 show edition. but yours looks more like the 9880? "groetjes" -Wil.
  23. I have tried to reach David Purdue but keep on failing in any way i try. does anyone know how to reach him. He was going to send me a catalog, but hasnt arrived after 3 months. and i really like to order his Ford/county models but cant place any order if i cant reach him.. help is much appreciated. his DBP models are great.
  24. i would love to see what you have done with it! of course, you do know where to find the 1-16 parts if you need any: www.dakotahtoys.com www.bossenimp.com
  25. thanks everyone for sharing all this information on BFA and the pictures. love these figurines, too bad they are so highly priced or they would surely be in my collection right now.. i think the Country Artists figurines are a bit better priced though for any collector. BC.. that must be a fortune you have there!
