  1. Very nice Mandy Here is the Timber Carriage "burrowed pic" This one has the 1st series cart horse and was only availble in this set for a short period, afterwards was replaced by the regular carthorse.
  2. I'd have a look at again at the Britains one pw they are not at all alike, unless you mean a different one ?
  3. I've seen one of those before I am sure....probably crescent or charbens. I would say for a tractor, probably they just modified the horse-drawn version to save on production costs.
  4. The dairy set (plastic horse) has to be one of my favs still yet to secure my self one though.
  5. Looks it to me Steve, the shafts went through loops on either side of the horse's harness and then wires (like the ones used in the plough) that connected the gig to the horse. Soldierpac sells the horse for the gig I think
  6. Found this site some nice weather vanes on here http://www.weathervanes.co.uk/tractorweathervanes.html'>http://www.weathervanes.co.uk/tractorweathervanes.html http://www.weathervanes.co.uk
  7. Hi pr Thanks for posting You probably know some of this but I thought I would emblished for those that don't know The roller that you have is the 1st version as it has the wire going over the horse(some went through the horse) The second version had the 2 piece roller and nubs on the inside of the shaft. The horse on the bottom right is not Britains though, theirs does look similar. The plough horses didn't have as much tackle on them, just a bridle, collar and a girth strap. Oh and the little cart with spoked wheels should be pulled by a different horse more of a thin cob type horse :)
  8. Looks good to me Marcus, will be nice with decals on it
  9. He thought that was a fancy toilet paper dispenser when he first got it :D
  10. Didn't they change the cow later on to the thinner one that is still available now ?
  11. Smashing graham Is there anything you can't make I think I may just have to say bugger to the cost of postage and have you ship me one of your buildings when I figure out which one I want (actually want them all).

  14. Hi Noel I would check out Old Fords farm and also Farmermarshall they have clamps on their layouts I also think smallclaas does to. Browse through the Model farm section there are literally hundreds of ideas from which to draw inspiration from. I think mjb uses small doormats for fields, astro turf from and DIY centre can be used for grass or a trip to the model shop will get you the grass mats used on railway layouts. Hope that helped and welome to the forum
