  1. I think it was a bargain ,?31.00 from Australia. There are various cab styles, the oldest have a square cab ,then there is another rounded cab with a side door and this one is the final version bases on a Bedford I think.I may be wrong though, please correct me if I am .
  2. Yes,they are the same part. Britains also made these old lorries in civilian colours as farm lorries.
  3. I also prefer the red wheels and they are easier to use because they are allready there . I may do an industrial one as well.
  4. Heres a picture of the version with standard Britains wheels, what do you think ?
  5. I just bought this off ebay,I now have 5 of the old britains lorries and they go well with the old tractos etc. Anyone else have any ? \
  6. OK Graham , no problem. I haven't a clue how much they will cost yet but it will be sensible.
  7. Thanks to the rest of you for your comments as well,do you folks think the red wheel centres look OK ?
  8. Thanks Marky,Please could you send me a copy of the brochure,it would be very helpful. I am going to leave them cab-less but I also may try to make one which is fitted with square mudguards, although it may prove tricky. I am currently waiting for bonnets, exhausts, front grils etc to finish them.I am also planning on making some to sell so ,of course you can have one. Cheers for the comments.
  9. I have done a bit more work on the 135 this week.I now have 2 tractors part done. One has standard Britains 135 wheels and this one has the siku te rears and britains fronts all painted with red centres.I have also modded the rear linkage to make it smaller.More pictures as and when. Please feel free to comment,I would like to know what you think ,good or bad ? Cheers
  10. Glad you liked the pictures. The fordsons are both originals as you can se from the paint loss and niether of them have rear lights. The trailers and cabs are just blue trailers painted yellow. The cabs are repros. The one trailer does have proper ddn wheels though.
  11. Here are some quick fordson pictures. I will dig them out one day for some better shots.
  12. I have most of the animals and figures loose but this is the only boxed set of animals I have.I do have the hurdles boxed though.I would love to get some more sets of animals.
  13. I picked this set up recently, its not the most pristine set but I like it.
  14. Sorry Barry.......................just wait for a bit and I will see how it goes. It all depends on the Britains Fordson I am bidding on at the moment on ebay . I might need to sell this one to fund the major ! \
  15. You could be right there mate,as it is ,it looks different to the Britains one but I think it may lose something if I fit a cab. \
  16. I may actually keep this one ,and then do some more to sell. I must admit I sometimes regret selling every convo because I don't actually own any of my old ones at all.I have made loads of big countys,7000s etc and never kept one yet.
  17. Thanks guys ,yes Barry its red ! Its very unusual for me to build a red tractor but I do like this one. I saw the one posted on here last week and it gave me the idea. I may try a cab ,I will keep you all posted.
  18. Thanks Sean, it is funny how these ideas some pop into my head now and again. I am on the lookout for scrap fastracs now !
