  1. Its been a wet and miserable day today so I have had a cabinet re-shuffle. While I had my Fordsons out I thought I would photograph them to share with whoever might be interested. Hope you don't nod off, there are 9 pictures ! First one is the earliest E27ns .
  2. I seem to remember 2 4020s and one 5020.
  3. Britains model iron. I only have the box lid sadly, still and interesting old model.
  4. Here are some more oddities. A couple of crescent boxed sets.Any body have any idea of age for these ? They are plastic,I was thinking 60s or 70s. \
  5. Yes ,I have collected a few now. I love the charm of them and the boxes are attractive even though they are simple in design.
  6. I know its not PC nowadays and not even legal \,but I love these figures and now a lot of people that still follow the hunt.
  7. This is photo taken in 2002 of my son Charlie sitting on the John Deere 4020 which Britains modelled theirs on.It is reputed that the toy was modelled on Dave Hiscocks actual tractor. For 3 years running Dave bought these 3 tractors up to us in Herefordshire for our village show/tractor run.Hope you like the photo but I am sure I may have posted it before. \
  8. More work in progress folks, looks better now the air cleaner and exhaust are fitted.
  9. I will sadly be missing spalding as we are going on holiday for a fortnight, bad planning ehh !
  10. Narrow wheels is then boys, like on the first original picture.
  11. Thanks chaps,I will dig out my wheels and see what happens.
  12. I am still undecided on the front wheels and trying different options. The narrow ones will be favourites I think. I can't decide whether or not to paint the centres red ? \
  13. The owner is from the Forset of Dean and I think it is used in the forsets on timber work.
  14. Glad you like it Marky, the first one off the production line is earmarked for you anyway . It might be the only one off the line though,I can't decide. \
  15. I would like to meet up with you,let me know when and where.
  16. Not far away now Marky,I won't keep you waiting too much longer.
  17. Massey 185 is moving along quietly.I am going to use slightly wider rear wheels I think .It has only had one coat of paint so far so its still a bit rough around the edges.
  18. Nearly there now, just a few details to do on front grill etc.
  19. Each time I build a tractor I think of making 2 but I would only end up selling them both because all of the money made goes back into buying more parts and supporting buying my old Britains Fordsons which don't come cheap. I think my least favourite conversions have been some of my tim conversions.
  20. Thanks very much,I hope the new owner likes it. I won't mind keeping it though ,if he doesn't !
