Being from the states 1/64th is all I collect. Then again after seeing all of the 1/32nd models on here I might have to make a little room for some 1/32nd's :D Here is a link to my journal in the Model farm, layout and diorama section. http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=22859.0
Welcome to the forum.

It's odd to find them at any store other than tractor supply or the dealerships but the drug store I went to (Kinney's) has a nice collection of John deere stuff like mugs, a few JD toys, mostly the sandbox toys but they do have some 1/64th diecast tractors and other things like picture frames and what not.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it :)
Smallclaas: I kind of miss the maize but I got started on it and it was a pain to stick even that small amount of tooth picks into the foam board. I think that picture was taken right before my cat knocked it over so that's when I decided to rebuild it differently and after that was done I decided to take down the big barn display and redo that one as well.
I couldn't stop at just a few changes... I had to change everything
It started out with this...
Then it turned into this....
Then I took this display...
And did this...
I just couldn't stop myself :D My second display has quite a ways to go. As you can see I am working on a workshop and towards the back I am working on a grain leg system with a triple stack grain dryer. It's moving along slowly but surely. Thanks for looking,
Luke
They have some signs by the beech and it says something about an erosion project. What they do is take a Cat payloader and push debris from around where the tide was the night before and then these tractors were pulling sand from by the board walk and pulling it forward. The odd thing was that they were leaving this straw like material on the beach that must wash up from the night before. It must be a new technique because 2 years ago there was just sand and now this past year they are leaving this straw material that washes up.
Thank you, I had to laugh at the fact that the tractors are Case and New Holland but everything from generators to bucket loaders that their road crews used were John Deere, I am fairly certain that the ones scraping the sand work for the same department as the road crew.
I was not quite sure where this belonged so I too a chance an put them here I was digging through some pictures for CJ and I came across these tractors moving the sand on the beach last year in April while I was on vacation in Virginia Beach. Id rather be there than in New York with all the snow right now
If you do get the board id like to hear what you think about it. We have been looking at one for a while but havent bought one yet, I wonder if they are worth it or not. I was the first one to try out the Wii fitness on our Wii and it said I was 68
I think that I might have a few. My family doesn't own it but alot of my family has worked there over the years. My Dad is the dairy manager there and I fill in mainly durring the spring-fall. I have a few shots of the equipment and one of the main barn right before it was expanded. Ill gather them up and if I get some time I will post them
