  1. Thanks Peter, I have to be sure I dont have too many cups of coffee before I work on any model :D
  2. Well I am allergic to peanuts and around the late 1990's in the US a lot of companies started doing what I refear to as CYB (Cover Your Butt) Essentially most all of the candy companies started adding MAY contain peanuts on virtually everything they made even though peanuts may be nowhere near the product thus I could not eat the candy. Now I do not like a lot of candy but I did appreciate the occasional treat. Well today I found out that Canada of all places offers quite a few of the same candy bars that are identical to the ones made in the US but they are Peanut free. Needless to say I have just ordered a whole mess of candy bars and I am grinning ear to ear. I think ordered enough to hold me over for the next year :D
  3. Thanks for the comments everyone, a steady hand helps but I prefear a hope and a prayer first :D That is the thing about 1/64th, it may not take up as much space but it makes customizing all that more challenging. Jamie: There is a small company that sells all sorts of parts, they do have mirrors but I want to try and make my own first and save a little money.
  4. Amazing looking machine 8) Great attention to detail as well. I hope we see more from you as well, great work.
  5. I have sort of the same problem right now as well except I have lots of timber but all the wrong size for what I need now. Luckely I'm off to the store tomorrow. :D
  6. Well here is a 1/64th John Deere 7930. I added new tires and hand rails. I still have to add flasher light bars but I have to pick up a smaller drill bit. I also have a John Deere 8130 with new tires and 2WD set up. The manure pump behind it is a custom made one I bought from someone here in the states. Thanks for looking.
  7. Working on a 1/64th JD 7930. Added new tires, light bars and hand rails. Pictures are due as soon as I finish
  8. Amazing, simply amazing. I really like the field shot. :)
  9. Read a story about a woman from Florida state that called police after she did not get her chicken nuggets from Mcdonalds, sad but funny :D Here is the news story: FORT PIERCE, Fla. (March 3) - Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald's employees told her they were out of McNuggets. A police report said 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out. She says she was refused a refund and told all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate. Police say Goodman was cited on a misuse of 911 charge. A current phone listing for Goodman couldn't be found. A McDonald's spokesman says Goodman should have been given a refund, and she's being sent a gift card for a free meal.
  10. Looks like the real deal :o Does the header fold?
  11. -12 and windy, id say I would want to go to the sothern part of the US but it's cold down there too, theres no escaping the cold now :D
  12. Not much has changed from February. The shop is being expanded after I test fitted the last one and I decided we needed something bigger. The expansion is to help with storage but the expansion is also planed to have a second story to house the farm offices. Right now I am putting up the wood frame and need to get some styrene siding ordered after another test fit to get the dimensions right. The farm also has a new 7750 John Deere SPFH on the way to replace one of the 7500's. We are getting a little excited to start spring tillage, it wont be long before we do
  13. I forgot to mention that I live on the east coast of the US and I was calling out to the west cost so by the time I actually had time to call it was about an hour before their closing time, bad call on my part :D
  14. I sympathise for the support teams, after all they probally have to deal with a hand full off unhappy customers all day as well. It was just annoying because I called when it seemed like it there would not be so many people callling and it was even more frustrating because I could have avoided calling them if their FAQ page on their web site was working.
  15. Tech support, cant they ever pick up the phone in a decent amount of time > I'm going on 20 minuets now, they finally pick up and now I am back on hold!!!
  16. Great job 8) Amazing detail all over, this may be one of my favorites :)
  17. I have been trying to convert our old VHS tapes over to DVDs and this "white fuzz" keeps coming up on the screen every couple of seconds.
  18. Nice pictures We have wood chucks and they make some nasty holes like the badgers. I was up to the farm one day just for a few minuets and one of the guys came back with the back window of the 7810 blown out. Guess he hit a hole and he said it sounded like a bomb going off when the window broke. I was out merging hay and the hay covered up a hole and sure enough I hit it. I was not going that fast and was in an open station tractor so no window broke but boy do you feel it when you hit one of those holes I would hate to hit one of those on a hill.
  19. Looks nice, I cant wait to see more pictures
  20. About 2 deg. and sunny 8) Quite deceiving though because there is suppose to be a big snow storm heading my way.
  21. Great looking models, looks like quite the collection :)
