  1. Thanks for the comments everyone Tris, the detail is getting unbelievable, so are the prices on some of the models :D mad4machines: I'd love one of the real trucks, if the price isn't bad enough on them I have to have a special license to drive one in the state I live in, I guess they are too big. Who ever heard of a truck being to big ??? ;D
  2. That must have been one heck of a ride :o Glad the driver is alright.
  3. A custom built 1/64th manure pit pump. Should be here any day now for pictures.
  4. I just relized these are going out of the order I wanted \ Well here are some more, thanks for looking
  5. I'm glad I did when I was home alone :D Thanks for the comments guys. Well the new Kinze 16 row inter-plant planter arrived today so some of the crew was there to met the dealer near the shop. We are also busy spreading manure. We were using a John Deere 7330 and 7930 on the Knight 8018 pro-twin slingers and the Steiger PTA-325 on the Huskey tanker. The Houle was out there but I didn't catch a shot of it this time. We are also pleased to be the new owners of a Case 9120 combine with 16 row corn head and rubber tracks. It is due for an August deliver from the dealer so they still promise to rent out a 7088 to fill in for the 8010. We will also see our new 7850 John Deere SPFH that was ordered last year to show up to replace one of our 7500's. The plan is to demo a New Holland FR series later this year to possibly replace the other 7500 but the dealer is not making any promises due to the demand at the factory. Well enough talk, here are some more pictures.
  6. It nice to finally view your farm with out having to wait for dial up to load all the pictures :D Great outdoor shots

  14. Last set. I think.... :D Thanks for looking Luke
  15. I have never really done a full journal with story line before so here is my first one. Just to note the shop in the picture is nowhere near finished. I used foam board for the siding do that I can get an idea of how it will look before I use styrene. It will be my first time working with it so wish me luck. I plan on adding an office and storage area to it as well. Well it may be winter but things haven’t slowed down one bit at the farm. We recently sent the Case 8010 combine off to the dealer because there was an incident involving the bin extension and after being on the farm for about 6 years it has seen plenty of ground. We are still up in the air as what to get, the dealer has said that he has two 7088’s coming in so if we need to rent one they will have some in stock until we can make an official decision. The salesman said that it may be smaller than the 8010 but it should be a good temporary fill until we find a permanent replacement. A bit 9020 sounds appropriate but we will see what’s on the lot for a demo when the item comes. We are officially saying goodbye to the 16 row New Holland corn planter. We have had no complaints about this planter and it has really done a great job but with the farm being so large and the rising costs of virtually everything we want to get the most use out of our equipment. We pulled her into the shop with the 8440 then a couple of the crew members started checking her out before going to the dealer later this week. We have decided a new 16 row Kinze planter with interplants will be a great replacement because if we were to fall behind on soybeans we have an extra planter to help the air seeder and at the same time we are not losing a corn planter if things stay on schedule. Our main reason for keeping a 16 row to help the 36 row DB-90 is that we also own quite a few smaller fields that would be ridiculous for the DB to even get into. Another load of gravel arrived for the shop entrance so the 8630 with blade was used for that. We were considering pavement but decided that the cost was not necessary at this time so maybe down the road we may consider it. The plan is to eventually expand the shop to help store more equipment and possibly to house a paint area for the farms restoration projects. That is about it for now until the snow melts.
  16. Coming from a green guy I have to say... Wow 8) I wouldn't mind a test drive with that :)
  17. I got it at Bossen Impliment for about 19 US. I love ordering from them, fastest shipping and the best prices :) I don't know if you have heard of standi toys but they make alot of parts and what not for toys and they just released a hay head and new spout that works with Ertl's PT choppers, havent picked it up yet but thats next on the list.
  18. Quite a bit today actually :D as usual all in 1/64th, first up a Kinze 16 row corn planter, grain auger, PT forage harvester with hay head at a great price, new New Holland tractor/ptforage harvester/wagon set, few set of tires for some progects and some flasher bars as well as some axles. I think that is it, close to 100 USD It's days like today why I only collect 1/64th still. :D
  19. Well i haven't been to the Dr. in over a year and a half and I needed my prescription to be filled. It's only in emergencies if I were to have a allergic reaction to peanuts but the medicine expires after a year so I need it filled every year. Well its a little over a year and I need to update my supply so the Dr. office said they would fill it this time but I would have to stop in for a quick check up. Unless they find a miracle cure ill need the prescription till I die, I suppose it's just another hassle. :
