lovely tractor nice sound of those air cooled engines we still run agrostar models great tractors alot better than the agrotrons .just keep the engine blow down closest to the cab as dirt gathers in the fins along the engine and can cause number six pot to go you will know when it goes as when you start it there will be a serious bang at the start and when the tractor comes under perssure it will make the same noise once its kept blowen down it will be ok you can drive it like that for weeks but it will only do more harm .best of luck with it

nices pics bill you dont get to see any mf combines round my way all new holland or claas i have to agree with you on the older machines better all round we run to lexions a 2 year old 580 and a new 600 which i might add was not running right from the start could not keep with the 580 was down on power they came pluged in the laptop hit a few buttons and that was it never told us what they did . you just cant go near them yourself to computerised . cant see them ever makeing it to the vintage scene in 30 years time now im not saying there a bad machine just to many computers in them we use to service the combines ourselves in the winter time on the doms but not anymore

nice pics pete we run one 8530 a great tractor its not autosteer but a great machine i only drove it a few times but a mighty tractor

nice pics bill the 106 brings back good memories we use to run one of those years ago great combine it was my machine for two seasons then was traded in for a new 108 if only the lexions where as simple to maintain as the doms it would be great 8)

we run a 580 and a600 new this year which wasnt right from day one couldnt keep with the 580 but claas ireland sorted it straight away glad to say it is know the other way a round we get great service over here cant fault them . everyone gets the same treatment no matter what you run as a freind of mine runs a 98sl and gets the same response from claas as we do 8)
