  1. very small pre cleaner too a 7610 under load would have problems breathing through that
  2. nice models very european spec, euro trailer hitch, front mudguards, tow pin centre front weight and quick attach lower link ends. should have h pattern column change and not rubik cube as its on later square wheel centres, rubiks was in general on older eight bolt rear wheel centres.
  3. you are most welcome it was useds on a david brown 1210 then a 1212 hydrashift and 1690. the farm went over to flat eights with a browns sledge a secondary catching sledge was built on the farm so the flat eights could be left in lines to save chasing about. it made people think twice about over taking on the road the outfit was around 60 feet long.
  4. i believe its launch was in 1975 and on sale in 1976 , a farm dad was on had one new in1976

looking at pics on farmphoto the mf and landini have different layouts in the cab, uk built mf 600 tracors had gear levers on the floor the eu tractors have gear levers each side of the seat.
  8. a combine no matter what colour it is , only as good as its operator- only an expeienced operator who is interested in his machine and wants to get the best from the machine. the name of the game clean sample in the tank and lowest possible losses over the back. As an ex agricultural technician with a fair experience of combines it is definitely the operator thats the most important part of a combine not its make, colour or looks. All manufacturers have faults and problems claas included. The comment about jd combines being broken down is the machine or the way they were being used.I can only speak as i found in the past, most problems contribuable by operators or maintenance issues- esp borne out in situations of two identical machines in same field one working the other not working. only a seasoned operator with lots of hours under his belt day in day out will know a good combine.
  9. pecks mate from ramsey st marys but started my career with p a turneys
  10. yes they had two tx36 i looked after them old gals glad they are back with the yellows
  11. josh i dont know if they still run it or its long gone ,they use to run a rather special TX36 at St GUTHLACS Crowland, all the drives had their linkages replaced with electric servos for putting the combines elements in and out of gear. it was made push button operation as the guy that drove her only had one arm.
  12. i remember the TF46 machines very well the dealership i worked for sold the first 3 in the country , they were so new we trained on them and PDI them at the same time at new hollands training school. if my memory serves me right they had a spot rate of 16 tonnes per hour when out. the most important piece of kit was the shaft speed monitors to keep an eye on throughput and discharge beater speed. At this time New Holland training school shared the same home as FORD Motorsport rally team we often wondered off for a nosy and achat with the rally boys and drivers Stig blomvist and Malcom wilson. Back onto subject the TX Range were phenominal machines, the self levelling cleaning shoe the biggest bug bear otherwise bullet proof machines. when launched there was a backlist for them and some only reached farms halway through the season. our depot sold in excess of 20 combies in one year and won a new holland prize best sales figures for combines.

  15. the britains trailer body can never reflect a Weeks/ MF trailer as the body is so wrong, the britains trailer was based on a Warwick trailer
  16. no strop mate i find it all amusing ha ha! to speak the truth
  17. its common knowledge that they are going to produce a tractor, hard facts are whats needed not silly games , the only marketing i am interested in is seeing the product to make my mind up if i want to buy it. anticipation thats a laugh ! with launches repeatedly delayed or not happening at all in some cases. those that want anticipation good luck everybody to their own. this is a forum and as such i believe i am allowed an opinion as much as next man.
  18. not interested in games
  19. pointless post really! whats the point in saying they are going to build a tractor and not aying what it is going to be!. so what! so are other people going to be building new tractors
