No worries CJ Good job it aint our trailer Murray otherwise with the amount of silage we do and the large loads it would snap!

Who done the sign writing on your kit?

Great pictures, I hauled silage away from them at college They had all JD's then. Is that big Fendt a 936 Dan?
-
Yep still will be able to Ol, I've fitted the main frame bit today I'll post a picture tomorrow.

The M is a profiline, and we did have a bit of trouble with the shuttle not selecting reverse, and something to do with a loss of power, to which a laptop was plugged in to fix it And I have no idea about the export thing, All I know is that they only export used tractors. So I suppose we just 'use' them a bit. I do go on it sometimes, I did last year more when carting silage on a 2hour round trip because of the 50k. Nope, Blakewell Services for the Deutz. Which pictures did you mean CJ?

Enviromental Agency made a farmer move 600acres of silage because of excessive efluent leaking in to a river, So i've been down there 2 days now with the Farmmaster 414s loading it in to trailers and carting it to another indoor pit, and it's doing my head in, whilst this is happening some goon I work with took my tractor out today, and brought it back with about 2" Of mud all over the floor, up the sides of the gear casing, all over the inside of the windows, AND he lost my front weight bar in a dirty water pit, then said it wasn't his problem and went home. So I rang up my boss and had a go at him, even though it wasnt his fault \ just made me feel better and told him I want it clean before driving it tomorrow. BUTTT sounds like im driving the stupid loading shovel again tomorrow, whilst the environmental t*** watches over me with a clipboard, I also got in trouble for taking a top link off of the ONLY tractor in the yard because mine went missing, The tractor was attached to a mower, and the nob that got in to un-hitch the mower later on in the day didnt look behind him when he drove off, just lifted the linkage up and drove off, dragging the mower about 10ft, and apparently that was my fault Also I have a Huuuuge headache, probably due to how stressed out I am...Oh and one more whilst i'm on a roll. No-ones helping me with my wrap carrier, and by the time someone gets round to it it will be too late and i'll be flat out wrapping.

Been a while since I've browsed through this thread, but that's half an hour of my life which certainly wasn't wasted! I was quite annoyed when the pictures ran out :'( Nice to see you visited old Bernie Worth! He doesn't have that 6650 forager anymore, he runs a Jaguar 850 I believe. When are you likely to be up this way again Marcus, i'm yet to see you out and about!! Some cracking pictures and some great machinery you get to see, I like the old Claas foragers and my favourite has to be the tidy John Deere 7600 with green Massey trailer, brilliant Can't wait for even more! I take it ou don't hve beefcake with you anymore??!

Thanks That particular Deutz Agrotron was a 150 Profiline on a 08 Plate. We currently take new Deutz's off of a local dealer, put 400 hours on them and then they get exported, so they change regularly, Currently we have a Agrotron M620 with the silver roof

Just been on the case at work today, going to make a start tomorrow, its going to be based around the front weight and stay in place using the pin through the holes in the weight and sit in the weight holder on the tractor so it can't slip out. Just got to find some scaffold tube for the holders. Also i'm going to put some round pipe on the edges and bend it in to a curve for nudging bales. Should hold 6 rolls if all goes well
-
I do 18 covers which wraps the whole bale evenly once, and it usually works out 26 bales to 1 roll of wrap give or take a few. So in a 20 hour day I expect to wrap 200+ meaning I can easily go through 8+ rolls or wrap which works out at £400 a day on just wrap. I think the drawbar needs a bit of TLC! Got a bit saggy! Cheers Tris, Was a fine evening for it, carting on a hour round trip, 6 of us so only did 2 loads out of 19 acres, so not too pushed. Yeah would like to see some pics when you can
-
Yeah will be fairly well pushed for the next 3 months I should of thought, and with wrap being nearly £50 a roll, I'm going to be using a fair amount of moneys worth!! We run 2 wrappers, me on the 991BE and we have a 998 for the Square bales and rounds if needed.

I'm snapping loads of pictures lately, and then when I get a bit of spare time i'm going to pick all the best ones and post them up here. For the time being I took one on my phone yesterday of my 65 & West Trailer with quite a heavy load!! The sprung drawbar doesn't seem the healthiest with a full load up :D

If I can get the time of work, Orrrrr if the weather is pants, I'll be there on Saturday -
Can anyone post any pictures of a front mounted wrap carrier that isn't based around a front linkage. I'm going to make one this week for the front of the 6530 so I can carry at least 5 boxes of wrap on the front of the tractor. I need it to somehow fit over the weights. Any suggestions/ideas greatly recieved!
