  1. Each foraging team to their own, you have to pick and choose the system that suits you and the other drivers. That's the key to a smooth and successful silage making system. No one SHOULD do as other people do or say.
  2. All the stock at the local JD dealer, some highlights 2x JD 7530 A nice fully kitted 7430 A 6900 on like car tyres, as the other wheels are getting sand blasted and re-sprayed along with the rest of the tractor. Our old rolled over 6520 And a neighbouring farmers rolled 6830 which is undergoing repairs. John Deere 6650 forager. Burnt out JD 3220 handler Brand New Richard Western D*10 Rear spreader My old 6320 which is still looking like a tool for the job :'( Advert says 'In immaculate condition' Fully overhauled, resprayed, the lot 2650 JD 6930, 50k, airbrakes the lot, on the dyno Ermm. New Holland TS135a & Tanco wrapper Brand new JD 09 plate combine, only the back. Nice selction of the classic 1360 Mo-Co's. And about another 20 6320, 6520, 6530, 6830 etc.
  3. Went to the JD dealer twice to pick up some kit And nose about at all the new deere's Plus my old 6320 :'( Then unloaded a new small square baler (well new to us) it's a JD 359 and it's IMMACULATE Moved the fodderbeet cleaner, slow old job, caravanners love all 40ft of that Then delivered 12 Ton of road plainings to our local Deutz dealer. Now bed time.
  4. Is that Siku press based on a real one? As there are gaps between the tyres? Are these made in real life? Never seen one with gaps. But as for the conversion, spot on Mike, I done the same with the Lemken press, suits the UK farming style a bit more!
  5. How would you transport it on the road?! Apart from that it's good!
  6. :D Love the beefsteak one! Great pictures Marcus, those Kuhn Alterna mowers havn't really taken off around here, I only know of one. And loving the JCB's that's exactly the same as our 2 at work!
  7. Looks nice Mart but I agree with Tris, No light guards? When you hire them out I can see you replacing light lenses all the time. Also those reflectors won't last 2 mins when tipping out big piles of rubble. Just make sure you re-tighten the wheel nuts at the stated interval! And to be truley honest I think the beacon idea is silly, you can see the 2 on the tractor easy enough, it'snmot like the dump trailer is wider than the road or anything, I personally wouldn't bother and save a bit of money. But on the plus side Mart that's a reasonably good price for a 14 tonner, and it does look well built. I think after another 6 months of use an update should be done
  8. Here's the 3 main ones. Norscott Jaguar 880 Westend Jaguar 900 Westend Jaguar 900 'Green Eye'
  9. Next year then! I've read it and it made me laugh too! He'll have a headache tomorrow! Yeah was a good day thanks, rather wet at the start. How about yourself?
  10. Yeah until I had a long term holiday to somewhere exotic, with loads of ladies dancing about fanning me down with palm tree leaves, and endless supplies of beer in the setting sun... *wake up* Oh I mean, I worked too hard to get on here very much
  11. 7530 will suit me, I drive one at work sometimes so I know my way around them
  12. I'm off tomorrow, work don't know it yet, but after putting in my 80 hours this week i'm having the weekend off
  13. Why is the Jaguar running a pre 2001 front pick up when that particular model is about 06?
  14. Grabbed a few pictures today of it 'rolled up' Will post them when i'm not drifting off to sleep hitting my head on the keyboard and waking up again... when I close my eyes I just see bales going round...and round and round and round and round :D Thanks the Lord for Red Bull
  15. On another thread you took a picture of a tractor I think it was, from your lorry cab and it looked like beefcake was chasing the tractor!
  16. The most important person when it comes to silaging, is the farmers wife when she brings out hot pastys and a cuppa
  17. Cheers Rich, even without the 'levelling rings' the wrap is inside boxes so doesn't damage too much. I should get some pictures tomorrow as we've just started the tip of ths years wrapping, another 3 months to go
  18. It sits on the box tube currenty, with the blue plastic rings to level the box out. I need to cut some more little bits of box out to put in between the poles really but thats quite time consuming in my line of work!
