  1. Cheers chaps, Tris thats a good idea, Next rainy day i'll have a bash at that Sean a box of wrap weighs about 25kg I would have to drive over some fairly big bumps for the wrap to come off And thanks for the nice comments Hazzard tape could be a plan too! Cheers Gav, prototype 1 had longer poles which were an issue for lifting on and off, so took a good 15 inches off the top of each one, and like you say easier to lift off now 05rich, the model looks good, glad i've inspired someone! Eurodeere, it is a Marshall 502 (I Think) and is used as a yard tractor for bringing machinery in to the workshop when the other 22 tractors are out in summer! For more pictures of the fleet check out my thread... http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=18326.0
  2. Was thinking that myself Ricky. It might well happen!
  3. Finished my wrap carrier today for my John Deere & Mc Hale outfit, debating on weather it needs an extension, probably does, but for the time being, it's done and sparyed up See the 'Implements' thread in Real Farming.
  4. Ahh right, I get you! But didn't get the joke :D
  5. Thanks lads If and when I want to expand, the idea is to have another bar lower down infront of the ones there already with another 4 on. See how it goes for the time being!
  6. I was loading dump trailers today with the Farm Master 414s, and matey was having a drink in his tractor, so I put the bucket right in the air before crowding it over in to the trailer, and as the silage dropped you should of seen the lemonade go up his nose as it hit the bottom of the trailer :D :D
  7. Then put the 4 holders in place And finally painted it. Then took it for an off-raod test with it full of wrap, and done a 40k lap up the road and it all seemed fine! Let me know your thoughts!
  8. Had a crack tonight at the wrap carrier. Opted just for 4 holders at the moment with room to expand Here's the base bar.
  9. Don't embarrass Rhys anymore Tris, you'll make him go red. 2 coats coming right up
  10. I'm sorting it, going to have another bash again tomorrow evening if I have time, going to hold hopefully 6 box's of wrap, along with 3 on the wrapper and 1 in the holder, and one loose on the wrapper bed.
  11. If you carry on doing things like that you might catch a nasty diseasel :D :D Shall i get my coat?
  12. Get some 8 or 9 tonners on the go, and do 4 trailers instead of 3, big isnt everything in the world of contracting you know
  13. Have you ever been to Devon? 11/12 tonners are the limit around here Rich. Lanes & Farms arn't that big i'm afraid

  15. You have to be careful it hasn't been wrote off by the insurance company due to a '3rd party compaction' (Mum standing on it whilst hoovering) Which is what happened to one of my JD 6920's.
  16. Ah well next time your heading down this area let me know and i'll look out for you! Can I request a picture of Beefcake chasing a piece of machinery down the road like you did before please
  17. Cerin You need to get some round-up on that silage ground!! Damn daisys!! Looking good! I need to fully enclose my garden so I can do that again I like the Marshall trailer, and did you spray the Claas silage sides yourself?
