  1. I can see out my window now... New Holland FR9000 forager New Holland TM140 & Green & Yellow Richard Western SF11 New Holland TS115A & Green & Yellow Richard Western SF11 New Holland & TS115 & Blue Trailer
  2. A contractor called Eddie Staines (Clovelly Contractors) did make them, and there are 2 contractors around here running them. Although I don't think they've made any for a good year or so now. We have one of their buckrakes at work.
  3. Cheers Murray! What you mean you don't want to do it again! It's part of the job! Got to love working in to the early hours! Are you nearly here yet Mart? It's been a few days! :D This one's chipped up to just over 235hp Good tractors! I'm not entirely sure on the acerage so far, as there are 3 gangs, and then 4 round bailers, 3 big square bailers and 1 McHale Fusion, but I guess it's quite alot , On the arable side of things I only do things like soil preperation e.g power harrowing, rolling in seed etc. And occasionally we'll cart corn if the farmers don't do it their selves We run 2 combines a John Deere 2256 and a 2254 Hillsider. Thanks Berry mate Stop this time and grab a few pictures
  4. Cheers Murray, I would put bigger tyres on but i'm trying to model them around the real pictures above! And yes they are home built. They do buckrakes too based on Albutt one's Here's one that just came out their workshop that week...
  5. Number 1 has rolled out of the workshop! Another 2 to go I don't class myself as a top model maker/builder so don't expect top notch stuff!! This trailer is a copy of a few trailers that a contractor runs not far from here. He builds them himself and bases them on Stewart trailers. His in particular are 14 tonners, but this one is a 16 Based on Siku's Krampe Kipper TW 800 trailer, with a few extras, like meshed top at front. rear beacon, one less axle & mud gaurds. I've still got a few things to add on, I would like a ladder on the front, detailed lights at the back, and commercial rubber mud flaps at the rear.
  6. Going through town today and there's a hugely obese lady on a bike trying to push her way up the inside of the traffic jam, and my mate says in Borat voice "I do not like a da saggies" And like half the traffic jam were laughing! So immature but worth it on that occasion! :D :D
  7. No I didn't but im pretty sure it's a company not too far from me. So can have a look if you want, if they're about?
  8. I know that! I do that on many occasions! But I mean Rich wants a job working for a contractor that lives 50 mins away, and if he finishes at 4am time he gets home will be nearly 5! Thanks for all the other kind comments chaps! Greatly appreciated, yep got a few days off now, before the sun comes back out and the beef and sheep farmers go nuts for bales! And Mart you can have this wrapper if you want whilst I persuade my boss to get me a HS2000!!!!
  9. Too hot here, like thundery heat though, and 2 miles away at work they've had loads of rain
  10. Doesn't matter, gave me something to do! Lets other people see it too
  11. Here you go Marky. Might be of some interest, if not i'm sure the other MF fans can find something useful Click To Enlarge
  12. Cheers Jez, I'm confident there will be alot more to come in the following months Thanks painter, it is always good to have a variation on jobs I wil admit! Great pooh!? How rude :D Thanks Tris! I'm nagging the boss to get a HS2000 on demo, would cut my wrapping down to half, literally! Instead of doing 4 layers at 17 turns, it would do 4 layers at 8 and a 1/2 turns! Then I could wrap 300-400 bales a day Cheeeers Rich Yeah you won't regret it mate, the amount of people that said to me "You'll get bored luke, too many hours, bla bla bla" Well i'm way in to my 3rd year and still loving every minute, apart from the winter when the jobs are crap, but... I may be off to NZ end of this year and miss all that out
  13. What caravanners get to see on Devon lanes And from today a shot from the Quarry. 6830 & 12 Tonne trailer with screeners & crushers and a 21 Ton swinger on the ledge! That's all, questions and comments welcomed, as always
  14. Few other bits... The view of the Joskin injector disks etc. And The Loadall I was stacking in when I took the pictures of the McHale Fusion. 536-60 with Stronga squeeze.
  15. I had to pick the Fodderbeet Cleaner up from a local farm, so thought it was worth of a few snaps. VERY unstable and doesn't like to corner very fast!! A New Holland FR Forager we had on demo that was rubbish, so gutless for it's size. And a Milk tanker for Tris & Marcus
