  1. delivering feed as per usual , 4t to st maybn near bodmin , 4t to treen at lands end & 4t to some godforsaken place near st kevlen, lizard point , god cornwall is bleak

  5. simon M was right about the prices mark , ?30-?35 was the going price for an up together 595 soon as i saw this for ?8 i had to have it . 1 ) mark & i were priceing the parts from brian up over a cuppa & worked out roughly ?22 for the whole thing ,si i was still about ?10 better off. 2 ) how long to restore ? approx 3 hrs .that plasticote is touch dry within 45min's 3 ) you cant :D this one was from the middle of the hall simon ,chap had a ?1 box which is where i found a few other bits an pieces
  6. thanks lads , just changing the chassis to grey makes a big difference to it's appearance just waiting for the ferguson hot-line to ring as we speak ben !

  8. have painted the floorpan & bottom section of the cab with plasticote red , not an exact match but very close , if i'd had a spray can i'd have done the bonnet as well finished
  9. not really a convo but bought a 595 for ?8 at the toy & train fair on sunday stopping off at brian normans stall on the wayfor some parts , this time i have painted the chassis in the correct colour grey, using plasticote paint ,

  12. know what you mean marky , found a ford force leaflet hung on a nail behind an old army greatcoat where i used to work , quite an interesting find i thought , all the tractors were grouped around , but it was a bit tatty ,boss got me to laminate it & finally hung it on the workshop wall
  13. just flicking through CT & read that oliver walston has set his farming diary back dated to 1978 ! i can remember watching the series that followed him on the TV so i thought i'd have a look the pics are good as are the anual reports , especialy the machinery section , so if you want to see what goes on in a farmers head , have a look see , it's rather quite good http://www.thriplow-farms.co.uk/index.html

  23. no sooner as it's tipped out , it's being re-loaded as farmer barrett has asked for a morning sample :)sample the puffs are so clean it doesn't need a cleaner loader
