  1. i supose this all very much depends on how you swather boards are set & the tractors wheel width, i once worked at a farm with ditches around many fields with soft edges , so the swath boards threw the swath to the left as you followed the tractor that & we were on 72in wheel settings so with a 9ft cutting bed we were only effctively cutting 8ft af grass each time
  2. to be quite honest i think it would be a waste of development money for a new playbase , considering the size of machinery that is available
  3. no need to make stickers , just go to a craft shop & get some 'peel off's'& you get individual sticky letters, looks much better , check out the 6520 in thes pics

  8. if i can find someting suitable for bales i'd love to do an 80's round bale scene BTW can haymaking be entered in this section as there is still a fair amount of it made ,but maybe not enough for a topic af its own haylage maybe ?
  9. WOW real sweet , whats' happened to your pics lately though as they're all too big ?
  10. whatever the colour they're meant to be they look pretty bloody good mark , ever thought of getting another 2wd & painting the roof yellow for an SE version ? an SE with a loader would look great here's one of the pics of a 40 series from oli http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=7960.0

  12. no most had the same work lights as were used on the front but were mounted on brackets on the side of the cab rear pillar, i've seen very few work lights mounted on the cab roof itself
  13. that may explain the lack of front linkage then chaps , as big as the 78 may be there's a fair bit of heavy land in that area & it maybe the size & weight of the tractor thats needed not necessarily what the tractor is capeable of powering. At upcerne we had three 7710's but none had front linkage due to the fact anything other than the implement behind would have killed them due to the land we were working , which was steep ,heavy clay / chalk
  14. didn't the 40 series have green cabs though OF ?
  15. and considering scotland didn't even get to the group stages ,maybe some flat tyres :D :D
  16. whats going on ,it's come to a bit of a standstill ? come on lads get the pics up, me & thomas cant do it all :D
  17. most of us would fit in perfectly then :D
  18. hardly surprising round your way though is it ? just take that road from wellington to wiviliscombe !, i even got into a fight with a metro driver along there :D if it was down your way then i don't expect the farmer has even noticed the lights , mirrors & back window are missing :D :D \
  19. yeah & i expect the catches have been welded dozens of times , no mirrors , no lights, no back window , if we were doing mots on tractors then that would be beyond help
  20. is that out round wiviliscome way rob ?
  21. soon as i saw that leyland i thought smurf was out & about :D obviously the owner of the FW saw sense & swaped it for someting a bit more reliable a 6320 maybe :D
  22. doesn't look like that 77 has had the easiest of lives does it \
  23. ah in that case the leyland 804 is long gone then
