    Massey 390

do you mean his 399 sean ? if so then it was the original design ,which then became the lo-line as it had a rounded cab roof

    Ford TW 20

i know what you mean about the bubble cab latches nigel ,they were bolted to the frame & unlike the later catch type ones they were of a two step block design & once they became loose the door would never close the same most people usually welded then in the end which of course no longer makes it an aproved safteycab \ the 2wd axles on the 6700/10 - 7700/10 - 8100,7900/10 - TW10 / 20 models were all designed to be reverseable for different length wheelbase's

    new tractor

well done smish , good looking tractor that, very comfortable to spent a working day in , is it a 30,40 or 50 k box ? be wary of & check the lift arms thoroughly if they're all cast as some had a tendency to snap usually the nearside for some reason ,i had this happen to me with 3650 & a 4055 both the same side & both when it was with a 4mtr combi drill \ other than that it's a good drive you'll enjoy it remember to use the proper ccolant ,it may cost a bit more but it's worth it

    Hooper disc & roller

one farmer asked me if my ploughing was straight , then said don't worry about straight just keeping it in the ground will be challenging enough \ great pics again fp :)
  13. a spare bin liner & some insulation tape \
  14. yes i did mate , really not sure why he didn't hook up mowers on the front of an older jag either ,it obviously does the job , but it looks awfull \ if you got steep hills ,like he has , why start dragging all that crap around behind him ? seems to suit his needs though so a job well done i spose \ in these days of anti compaction & low pressure tyres he's now got an extra set of wheels to drag around & i bet that set-up isn't light either, what happens to the ground when it gets a bit damp & the farmer still says go, the rolling resistance would be awful as it's trailed ,not driven,so that means the tractor will be making an awfull mess tearing the surface up just to keep it moving \
  15. bit of bin liner & a small bit of insulation tape would do for that
  16. coz some farmers & contractors can't afford a cougar so an adapted 690 may be the way to go, a lot of the earlier 690's are getting tired especially the blower & chopper units & the 690 gives a cost effective high HP alternative
  17. i'm always in 1/32 mode when i'm out & about
