  1. yeah mike's hearth rug i spect, i spose julie knows else his knackers would be off like a shot :D
  2. :D :D or be an even more sad case like me & look out for the mirrors on the roadside when doing roadwork , thinking to yerself 'god i look good' :D :D
  3. this tractor belongs to local contractor Michael Hine he's 34 yrs old & this is one of three TM's he runs. driven by his brother david ,trimming the fields by our house ,i had to move the cars for him to finnish the lane , so punctures galore in the next few days i spect the tractor pictured here is a TM 155 this could be NH2 in a few years time maybe ?
  4. nice work there sean going to try & keep the wheels fromthe tim fergie & try to graft it to a britains chassis like 72 did or a siku renault creres for the hitch , i thought about the siku deutz 4.70 but am reluctant to break a decent model \ the only trouble i can see with it is the same i had with my 3680 convo & thats the bonnet is a different shade of red to the rear wings , just like you had trouble matching the drills for your 4 meter convo \
  5. blimey ,this yard popped up from nowhere quickly marky looks really good ,trouble with all this veg is you now need harvesters & i don't think Massey do many if any of them looks like a few more colours need to be included in the setup \ \ well done really good mate :)
  6. the french market eh ? just goes to show you can't trust em :D
  7. the 399 cab is the earilier type as used on all 300 series even on the silver cabbed models. These tractors were all mechanical & gear sticks on the floor the britains 362 cab is the later hi-line cabbed finish & came with a revamped tractor such as the gears on the RHS of the driver & electronic implement control as an option. the bonnet on the 362 is slightly tapered so joining two together wouldn't be as easy as it sounds
  8. here it is as it should be i think , we'll just have to wait to see when marky gets it home ! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SCARCE-1-32-BRITAINS-OEM-MASSEY-FERGUSON-399-TRACTOR_W0QQitemZ7009021041QQcategoryZ117196QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. i was well chuffed, as there wern't any to be bought back then. i supose the spearhead was the first trimmer to be widely available ,not counting the very old dinky model for the 165.
  10. hope yer refering to the spreader & not the trimmer F-P :D thank you :)
  11. never actually tried putting the siku mounted one on a britains tractor ,will they fit
  12. then show off with my last two tractor convo's :D :D not that i'm aware of ben
  13. pic 3 ; took the belt drive off the linkage & filed down excess metal & drilled holes for the locating pins pic 4 ; slot into place will use super glue when doing this
  14. got the bogballe but i liked the amazone better ,but i only had the siku trailed version . pic 1 ; took 1 trimmer made years ago with linkage from a 2 drum mower 2 churns ,new-ray digger arm ,lego & copious amounts of yellow paint & a siku trailed spreader pic 2 ; drilled out the rivets from the trailed machine & tore the trimmer apart
  15. that looks to be a really great model ,nice to see the earlier black & red cab on it as well :) :) the front tyres look like someone mugged a formula 1 team :D
  16. i agree with NH2 that trike looks very terra-gator in it's styling . doesn't AGCO own terra-gator now ?
  17. blimey it's all going on over there chap & the displays are getting better & better each time . over here if somethings been out of commision for 10 years it's scrapped but it's good to see your lot dont waste the resources you have . thanks for that david :)
  18. there's good & bad in every thing but one factor not mentioned is the human one , i once hauled trailers alongside a JD 1065 owned by two brothers. one of the brothers did a very quick service every morning to get going & pushed it hard & it was a heap of litter & the worst f888ing thing on the planet coz it kept breaking down where as the other treated it with respect gave a good service in the mornings & let the combine go at a comfortable pace & kept going all week with no problem . i think driver error can be counted as to wether a machine is good or not.
  19. re;Tim Toys / Deutz 4260 how hard was it to swap it all over 72F? as i sort of let the MF side of things go when britains did the 3680 & am trying to catch up with it all again now
  20. it would be nice sean but that would mean sacrificeing the lift lever to have larger wheels on a fixed bar unless you can re-drill the ROS wheels to the same diameter as the original 362 rears to use the same fittings & even then i'm not certain they'll fit how did i know that was coming :D whats even more annoying is i had a look at a pic of markys 3070 in bennyv78 topic of his 3080A & that ROS 3070 has a windscreen & a back window factory fitted \
