I think its right up there with the new Ares for ugliest tractor yet
  4. You could sell it to the rest of us or put it up on ebay
  5. There is one, the last one. It was made for British Steel. Later it was kitted out for forestry work by Wilsons There is also another one that has had its cab changed for a super-Q. I think the Q looks better though
  6. IT'S A COUNTY 1884 NOT A FORD COUNTY 1884 NUMPTY!!!!! >
  7. ??? ??? OK ploughmaster I'll take your word for it, you always seem fairly Knowldgeable about things like this
  8. Sorry to dig up this post again but ploughmaster says that everyone who bought a Ford in 1989 was given an exact replica of their tractor. Personally I dont think this is exactly accurate as any of these models that I have seen have been of a super-Q tractor of approximately '4 cylinder' dimensions. I have never seen any AP cabbed ones or small ones like 3610s and the like. I reckon myself that all the models were the same except for the unique registration number engraved on each. Anyone else have any more thoughts?
  9. Brilliant setup blueford. Did you make the press rings yourself?
  10. Get the Siku Claas Rollant 250, when you put the old Britains bales in it it holds the door open about half an inch and it looks like your just about to leave out a bale. Plus its a good model in itself too.
  11. Not my pic, pulled it off this site a few months back.
  12. If you bought the kit you could probably paint it whatever colour you like.
  13. Imagine the value of some of the stuff in the top picture now! I see a Powerfarm County, several Powerfarm Fords and a couple of Lambourghinis!
  14. Ford 5000 or New Holland 1530, the most popular combine in my area, one guy has 5!
  15. When you plough on-land you dont cause as much compaction as when the wheels are in the furrow bottom. Maybe thats why it wasnt subsoiled.
  16. Was just thinking about this today, watching my uncle buck up silage with a S111 AP 7610 ;D. Might try making one in a while form plastic card in a while when I'm finished my other projects, since we have an AP 6610 ourselves.
  17. I preferred the MF nose fenboy, though that was pretty ugly too!!! ;D
  18. If you use ebay.com that happens automatically
  19. Where did you get an MTX 200??
  20. Cheers. Didn't realise they were worth that much.
  21. OK, but if you say that the MF based ones had only MFT on them because Moffet had sold the tractor business, how come the later Ford ones have Moffet written all over them? In fact, what I think happened was, the idea was developed by a farmer and taken on by an engineering firm in Co.Louth. This company then sold out at least the tractor enterprise to Moffet, who changed the skid unit to a Ford (much better I think!) There are two reasons behind my theory: 1: A department guy who came to our farm last year told my dad and brother that his uncle came up with the original idea, and based it on an old Massey. We didnt get any more details 2: I had a brochure for the MF based ones not so long ago, and reading through it I noticed that it made no mention of Mofffet, and showed a photo of the plant where they were made, with an address in Louth. I hope that this brief potted history helps
