  3. After someones suggestion about military workshop stuff in markys vegetables, I found this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Resin-Figure-KIT-1-35WWII-machine-tool-3-SET_W0QQitemZ6033237778QQcategoryZ70109QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Keep your tongues in!
  4. About barrels, you can get very small diameter solid half round Plastruct, that you could stick around a suitable cylinder as ribs to make a good looking drum, when painted it should look the part.
  5. Interesting. They do a very clean job of loading the beet off the bare ground dont they? No way youd get it that clean with a loading shovel.
  6. But 8950s are the rare ones arent they? And whats so classic about that setup anyway? Sounds like overkill to me
  7. The forestry driver was smaller so he could swivel around in the cab
  8. Piece from the Irish Farmers Journal 7 Jan 2006: McConnel flail cutter for Fastrac Contractors wanting to get between hedge and grass verge cutting jobs as quickly as possible have been given the means to do it by McConnel, the UK-based vegetation control machinery manufacturer. It has engineered a mounting kit that enables the company's telescopic Power Arm 7700T flail mower to fit behind the cab of the JCB Fastrac. The resulting outfit can cover the ground quickly and safely between jobs thanks to its 65kph top speed, twin axle suspension and all-round disc brakes before deploying the long-reach mower. The 7.7m reach Power Arm 7700T is normally carried on the axles and three-point linkage of a conventional tractor, the telescopic section of its outer arm enabling it to reach 7.7m from the side of the host vehicle. So they do exist!!
  9. I bet hes glad not to have one of those zero rated bidders winning it!
  10. He wont be driving it anywhere by the looks of things now!
  11. That Neil fellow must be pretty thick if he cant see that his forum has died a death. This place is way better, I wouldnt waste my time with that other one. The only thing it was any good for was a few photos, and even they werent fantastic. I think the reason it didnt work is because any time someone posted something, you got an email notification, so you didnt have to go along to the site every day to see what was on it. I wish he'd just axe it because its also becoming a source of spam emails for dating sites and that kind of stuff.
  12. I'd say go for a gravity feed one with the cup up on top. Theyre more reliable since you dont have to rely on the suction pressure to pullup the paint. I got a gravity feed one much like that ebay one for about ?16(+ postage from Hong Kong!) before christmas and I'm really happy with it
  13. Holy God, thats some display. Thanks for putting up the pics Stan. Those guys are some competition for Michael I can tell you. Im really raging I missed your little meet up last week now! 14. Hmmmm, never saw a crane on a power harrow-drill combo before, is that common? Nice pics too

  17. Great to hear about the Roadless 65, the Ford '000 series is well overdue. Can't wait! :) :)
  18. Yeah, bit of a bargain alright, shouldn't be too hard to renovate either. Getting a good paint finish would be the trickiest part.
  19. Deadly, especially considering the small scale. well done
