  1. I used non genuine JD paint, made by Farmlife I think. I hope to get some more detailing done today as its not too cold to sit out in the garage today!
  2. I think its a brilliant model, UH for me, just keep getting better and better. I just wish they supplied the bucket and forks in the same box , means buying another one if I want both attachments.
  3. Hi, I've made some small progress on this one now that the weather has turnes a bit kinder. Frost and paint don't go to well together! A couple of pics for now and will hopefully get some more up once the front wheels are dry and fitted.
  4. Very nice Andy, we must have a chat again about these trailers and where some of them are going to stay
  5. Hi, Not much more done yet, have decided on 2850. Have decided to use the front rims as per pics above, but with different, smaller tyres fitted to them. I hope to get her painted tomorrow at some point. Will post up some more pics once she is painted. Thanks for the comments guys.
  6. I sure did like these trailers and expressed my interest in one returning to my address hopefully. Your onto a winner there I would reckon Andy.
  7. Looks good Andy. Looking forward to seeing them inthe flesh
  8. A great show of displays and plenty of trade stands aswell. Looking forward to the next one already. I managed to get a few things ( serious dent in the finances made), think we walked round the displays three or four times and probably still missed stuff! Sorry guys I don't have any pics, had the camera with me and even remembered to take it out of the car with me, was too engrossed with everything and forgat to take a single pic, discovered the camera in jacket pocket on the way home, DOH! Well done to all the organisers for arranging this one.
  9. Liking this one a lot Those rear wheels suit it brilliantly, reminds me of a 7250 which used to work on a local estate here in Aberdeenshire. Looking forward to the finished article appearing on these pages.
  10. Johny, Please carry on posting updates on these. Maybe not a common choice in UK, but I still enjoy watching your creations unfold and would like to see this when its finished Brian
  11. JD and loader to finish, an artic trailer to paint and add a little more detail, muck fork to go on UH Claas tractor loader and lots of scrap/ cut off pieces etc that I hang onto thinking I might use that some day
  12. Very nice Jason, I like the rear hitch drop rods, very much improves the back end. I had to raise the rear platform on mine also
  13. I just mixed up some different colour paints that I have lying around until I got somewhere close.
  14. As Paul said above, bonnets were the same on 956 and 1056 but larger wheels were standard fit on the 1056. I think it looks great as a 1056
  15. Thanks for the tip Ricky, I was wondering how to bring back the shine
  16. The wheels are out wide because they are not pushed right on yet until I've painted it as they are very tight to remove again. I also think they look too big tho after fitting the axle on, shall see if I can fit smaller wheels to her.
  17. Just the Ergos wheels Tris, couldn't get the axle to work out properly, so just adapted the hubs to take the Ergos wheels. Not right I know, but looks good enough to me
  18. The loader was quite easy to fit, just four screws. Removed the front wheels to get the chassis drilled, then screwed it on.
  19. Like it a lot Go for silver wheels and 1056 decals with that size of wheels
  20. Had a broken set lying about so thought I'd put them to good use.
