All the paper formalities have to begin now and the various searches and so on but, in the space of an hour yesterday we sold our house and bought another! We managed to do it under the target we had for the change too so we're dead chuffed there. Obviously until the signatures are signed, anything could happen but so far.... Happy days!!

What a bunch of wallies! Seriously, what on earth do these people do to end up in such a pickle and whacking their premiums up!!! -
Brilliant. It's nice to see how you have made your barriers, clever yet simple really which is how a hobby needs to be really. Jez on here had a simple way. He found some rectangle (rather than square) mesh, cut out a strip then held the right bottom corner with pliers and the top left corner with pliers and then gave it a gentle pull. It looked just like yours, maybe not as strong but it looked very good. I like seeing soldering, something I havn't ever been able to sit down and have a good go at properly.

Making up kindling.... I clinched a contract for my boss for 2000 nets of kindling. With our machine, two of us can knock out 100 a day if we can keep going. We're 700 nets in... With our other contract with a shop and nets for our own customers, we'll be looking at a total of about 4000 nets for this winter. What a thought!

After an easy day yesterday where my only job was to take a Mercedes 300D to Sheerness docks ans get the train home; today I am away to the MVF mill at Calne to collect 6t of calf creep blend, with the MXM140. When I get back I'll pop down to a plant dealer near Shaftesbury to collect one tractor and drop that off at the yard and pop over to a nearby hamlet to pick one tractor up from each of two neighbouring farms.
