  1. No, we have one more offer on that one to put down if we need to go higher but after that, that's it.
  2. Not as yet, Sean. They have been on the market 8 weeks or more now and our two offers are the only to be offered. Ours goes on Rightmove this week which they have been informed of so maybe now they see we are serious something may come to fruition one way or another.
  3. Interesting about the scanning App, Tim. I think my bank account has mobile 'phone insurance on it too, to be honest. I damaged my HTC the other week to the point I have to keep the screen illuminated and unlocked all the time. If I don't, I have to remove the battery and reinsert it to get the home screen back. It is because the on/off button is stuck in (on) which is also the screen unlock button and typically it is stuck in the lock screen position! Nowadays my 'phone is flat by 11am after a night on charge so it is near as damn it on charge via mains on cigarette lighter almost all the time!
  4. Will look forward to hearing all about the S4, Alex. I was almost set on the S3 when I am able to go for one but I think the S4 may well be the one now. Just got to find an operator who will provide a service which is not as unreliable, slow, patchy and downright useless as o2!!
  5. Wild bashers, Alex? I know the nightclubs can be rough up your way but I've never heard that to describe the clientele!! better than turning the light on and waking her up I suppose Well, house coming together and due for being marketed on Saturday I think. No word back from sellers on our revised offer but there is no rush as our new mortgage kicks off beginning of July so a delay at this stage won't hurt as long as come the time to sell, it goes without haste.
  6. This is brilliant, the muck up the walls and around the posts/barrier, the drinkers, the pallet pen with the heat lamp...... All these details make this shed a brilliant bit of modelling to look over. Very good indeed, buddy
  7. I'm with Gav I'm afraid, the photos of your brick walls kind of gave away what you really did for a living.....
  8. Ha! Is that one of those exemplary reasons for parking on double yellow lines and on junctions that delivery drivers like to use to justify the fact they are bone idle?!
  9. We've spoken to our mortgage lady and all us good if we progress with it so now its just a case of sitting back, then maybe after the weekend putting another offer in. If we miss it, it won't be a big upset as we are finding less and less to do on our house now and its quite enjoyable to be able to live in it, DIY free!! Also, we have to find a buyer if our off er does get accepted!
  10. Oooooh yessss! Offer rejected as expected - we started low, very low. Now we'll make them sweat for a while before we increase our offer. They are desperate to sell but we are not so desperate to buy.
  11. Delivered a refurbished Massey 135, a refurbished 3t tipping trailer and a GP Engineering link box to a chap in West Sussex today. I have to say it looked flipping ace flying down the road into the distance Once he dropped off the link box he came back for his car. . ... leaving me to drive the tractor back to his farm with the trailer. Loved it? Did I flipping ever!!! A two mile jaunt through the lanes around Plaistow astride a Massey 135. . .. it was ace!! :) Then back to the yard to lend a hand getting stuff ready for shipping... 23 tractors, some sets of discs, disc ploughs and god knows what else, all destined for Sudan tomorrow and Friday. The government there are closing the ports to used farm machinery in favour of a deal struck with a manufacturer to supply new machinery from now on. The workshop has been flat out the past fortnight getting the orders shipped before the cut off date. Also, put an offer in on a house...
  12. It's just up the road, Sean but with en-suite, dining room, conservatory, parking and good sized garden - all of which we don't have!
  13. Went to look at a house today which does want some work but mainly outside. Had ours valuated too and was pleased with the figures, a bit of thinking to do now....!!
  14. Nice Show Model, Joe. Brian and Andy really pulled out the stops for their show this year. I bet Brian Softie was pleased to see a green one at that too. Nice haul, John.
  15. Rent the other two out on buy to let! We are viewing and having The Beams evaluated on Monday.....
  16. Off down to the Taunton area today to deliver a hedgetrimmer which I think is the Twose I brought back from Cornwall. Bit of a shame as it is newer and bigger than the Spearhead I use on tge farm. Two tractors to pick up down that way too. Suns poking out, currently over the fields with Zia so all in a nice day ahead That said I think I am loading the artic with hay this afternoon for tomorrows trip to Wales.
  17. Is the seller a dealer of sorts, Tim. It may be worth me looking at buying outright too. Run the length if my contract and then go onto a SIM only deal when I renew....
  18. A good strong community in farming, Bob. I hope there always will be folk like you chaps about.
  19. The string must be a nightmare for you though, what with having 6 fingers?! :ha ha!:
  20. I may well be looking at one too, the Mini I think Tim. My HTC combined with o2 is without question the worst double act since Samantha Fox and Mick Fleetwood.
  21. Thirteen tonner which we will hire as and when we need it for a week at a time but hopefully he'll buy one by next year, could pick up work with it stump grinding I reckon.
  22. Hopefully by this week, I'll know if there is one like this coming to our yard
  23. It's very sad, especially to die doing something in this he has probably done for nigh on 60 years and loved it too, Bob. What a tragic shame
