  1. They don't have tubes in, the real ones are just tyres loose on a tube.
  2. Devizes is a very pretty town really, as a youngun I only saw the kebab house followed by the pavement oh and the odd floozy (I don't mean they're odd. . .. although . ... ) But as you get older and start to appreciate estate agent windows, coffee shops and farmers markets then Devizes fits well. Oh and it has a Greggs.
  3. 1st model purchase of the year. . ... finally! Thanks to Barry for building it for me, it's superb
  4. Up at 7am and out the door to meet twenty other people and twenty five or so dogs for a big pack walk in the snow over Salisbury Plain which was excellent. Now trying to sort out o2 and Virgin Media account problems and changes etc. Shortly to go out the door for dinner with the outlaws here: http://www.thewellatbulkington.co.uk/
  5. Bob....... That is a prize, mate. What a cracking place and a nice bit if ground around it too. Me and the missus would kill for a place like that, good on you both. Big pat on the back from me matey. A kind of purchase for me, booked and paid half towards my 5 module, 35hr DCPC (Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence) with a local company who have a half price deal on until the end of April. It's a load of old tosh really but by Sept '14 every truck driver will have to have done it.
  6. Of all the people, Cenfyn's implements could not be a better choice for some of these models, David. He has some lovely models.... Not that I am in anyway trying to persuade you into anything of course.. ...
  7. The trailer I'D gave it away. You ought to see the modesty of hauliers being overlooked on the truck forums, Mike. This kind of stuff is a daily topic starter.
  8. As with Chris's collection, David you collect some absolutely stunning models and put them about in such a nice way. The money you have spent I bet you don't like to think about though. ... house deposit?!! Do you record your purchases in any way? Can you say exactly how many you have, or even a rough estimate?
  9. Poor Mr Downton! Looks like an odd spot for a lie down, mind!
  10. I see, good for you. I don't have tools or time for that kind of work but I have a superb model shop nearby which had a big Plastruct stock. I find it very easy to work with too and the scales are just the job. Interesting to see another method from you though.
  11. Lovely size and all set to be a nice building. One question though, why wooden beams and not the Plastruct style styrene I beam?
  12. Well, that's just riveting Tim. It's like a blinking open diary you have, sometimes! Honestly, don't you ever think about keeping a bit of privacy! :ha ha!:
  13. I've had a nice few days out in the rigid this week. Wednesday it was up to Cheffins with two cabs and a Massey 30 drill, back with a Massey 565 and a 590. Yesterday, down to Cullumpton with the 11t Richard Western silage trailer we brought back from Truro, a subsoiler to Exeter and back from the auction with a Transit livestock box. Today, a JCB up to Worcestershire and back empty and if I have time, take a Kverneland cultivator down to Weyhill near Andover
  14. Logs today, slighty milder today so could be a little quieter. Been a good winter for us Still got dry wood now where many havn't.
  15. Blimey mate, sounds like a hell of an opportunity! Would love to see that yard when everything is home but I guess like many company's it goes from site to site unless a big service is due?
  16. He'd have been overweight on his rear axles anyway, surely? Trailer doesn't look all that old either!
