  1. It's surprising how much of your time can be lost on building sheds, Ben. It looks good and sturdy now that it is on a base board by the way.
  2. The bigger Britains/Ertl may well fit actually Joe as the smaller 8T series Deeres' tracks fit the 765
  3. Are you in and out of market at all? Continentals seem to have picked up in the trade down here quite a lot so Howards have been buying Herefords and Angus weaners to fill the shed up, 50 odd now. They came after a good sale of 40 or 50 stores, some bought last year and others reared from the farms Continental calves.
  4. Face shaved, head shaved, bag packed, essentials ready, breakfast eaten, juice drank, teeth brushed. .... Sean. ... ... SEAN?!!!! Uh oh!!! \
  5. We are still going in the Smart Bomb arn't we?!! :D Barry that isn't a bad comiseration though, lucky bloke!! A very welcome addition to the trip, David. It'll be a pleasure to spend the weekend at the show with you. See you TOMORROW! Woohooo, two more sleeps to go, two more sleeps to Zwolle!

I thought I heard the stairs creaking! :D

Very nice, every model farm needs a set of these either in use or scrapped in the hedgerow. Maybe one day I'll get me a set too
  8. What some lovely animals, good solid looking cattle.
  9. Smart set of doors on the barn, Pete. The barn has a whole new look now and a good one at that.
  10. Nice looking shed, Ben. Coming on nicely by the looks of it.
  11. Unlimited Challenger 865. .... Tempt me!
  12. I'm safe, they are newer than the ones I have used. ... I can breath a sigh of relief!!! Traci would probably sell it if I bought one and use the money to get the locks changed! Hell of a layout though, love the fully lit root store
  13. Blimey and there are still more to come by the looks of it!! I have to point out my favourites: Tracked 5000 MF 148 MF185 with cab Narrow track TE20 County 754 JD 4240S JD4955 But my absolute favourite has to be one of the first photos you posted up of the sale, David. What a beauty that old Series 1 Land Rover is!!! :of :of You must've been a busy bee all day to get that lot in frame one by one mate. Super clear photos even under all those dazzling lights though, very much appreciated to see them all and have a good 'perv' through them :)
  14. Would you mind posting a review of this model in the Rate and Review? It may even get to Model Farmer too!! I'd really like to hear your thoughts on it as we has a Claas 600 series at Lackham so I need to buy one for myself
  15. Three more sleeps to go! Looking forward to it big time now
  16. Destination Lampeter again with hay today. No back load today apart from a tractor to pick uq from another dealer near home. That one is for a delivery tomorrow to a farm where a tractor was bought, a 6180 I think.
  17. That may have just swayed me, John. Trach has a Desire and although she doesn't utilise it nor have any want to, I think it's great. The smart 'phone is as handy a pocket tool on the farm as a penknife or Leatherman. You seem to have intergrated it into your daily farming activities. I'd be using a Smart 'phone for talk, text, camera, video, email, internet, diary. Then I'd be looking at work related Apps starting with Driver Hour Gaurd.
  18. Happy Birthday to . . . The Big Cheese. . . . . The Edam amoung us Cheddars, the odd Baby Bel and one or two old Blues, the Guv,ner, the Boss, Mr FTF. . . . . . . Happy Birthday Andy! Havd a smasher, no have a pint of Spalding!
  19. Yeah I have looked at that, the iPhone 5 was due on August though so something amiss already there. Really like Traci's HTC and she would like an iPhone so I may get one and if I don't like it I can swap with her. Then when she upgrades maybe the iPhone 5 will be out. .. . or maybe something entirely different. A Motorola Brick maybe
  20. I can see one of these joining the collection. ..
  21. I'm half thinking of giving it a miss this time around anyway, Nick. I want to see how the company perform after the loss of the big cheese who was the main driving force behind everything Apple produced. Interesting chapter in their history at the moment.
  22. Love the weathering on the Ford, Mark. I'm like you, I just want stuff to look as real as possible really. The values of models are not high on my priorities as I buy only what I have used. There is no pleasure in looking at models on shelves for me without a story behind them, it makes collecting 'for the sake of it' and if it ever gets like that for me, I'll stop.
  23. Gold this, Agritchnica that. . ... Bla bla blaaaaaa. . .. : THIS is a model! The seller has more than this one as well. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aveling-Porter-Traction-Engine-Steam-Roller-Living-Van-Water-Cart-1-32-/170722581499?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item27bfdbdbfb
  24. Weather helped the day, Andy? So mild for a November still isn't it?! Look forward to seeing the photos and reading up in Model Farmer about the show.
