  1. . ...... ... .. .. ... As Deere-est gets forced into an unwillingly third spot by F happy B and loses sight of the race leaders .. . .
  2. Bugger me!!! TM your really on one there ain'y ya?!!! I knew I shouldnt have suggested racing you to building stardom. You got some cracking looking sheds there mate. What did you use for the Yorkshire Boarding? I was going to use lollipop sticks cut in half ut the thickness maybe wrong. So I thought about splints for lighting open fires?
  3. Yeah those Valtras must do some miles. I saw two a year or two back up on the M4 around Chippenham and more recentley on the A303 near Mere. Wasn't one the subject of a horrific crash on the M5 south at Weston-Super-Mare? Some bloke nodded of on the inside lane and shove one up the arse on the hard shoulder. The bloke in the car died and the tractor was a write off. Since then they have had those Motorway lorries with the big bumper cushions on the back follow them round all day. The 8210 isn't the same as the one I have seen but for the sake of research and interest it just aswell be. Same kind of set-up in any-case. I have seen it ditching and trimming down on the Levels. Spot on for finding that one NCC. Good man.
  4. I think I prefer the look of sideloading lorries. Watched maize chopping in USA and they were using Claas choppers blowing into Kenworth 8x4 conventional rigid's. Awesome sight. Makes it look bigger and better to me, proper boys toys like!! Would love to see it here with Scanny V8 drawbar outfits, that would definately be cutting the mustard.
  5. As far as I know, the lvestock trailer is the same bed and box as the old lorry Britains did and withe a pull backwards by a couple of mil it should just lift clear.
  6. Nice bit of kit there FP. Must phone British Airways sooooooon!!!!!
  7. TM I had few beers mate and I am blaming the one I had for you for the subsequent hangover the following morning!! Thanks!! EMA catalogue arrived today along with all issues of Farm and Site thus far. Had a flick through EMA and there is some stuff in there all right, a list is currently being compiled!! Only need sheeting really as I have spared too much detail on my current open span shed, practice makes perfect apparantly so maybe the next one be me more realistic with purlins etc etc. Have lolly pop sitck to cut in half for Yorkshire boarding too but they are still in the "spoke for" pile in a craft shop in Bristol. Scaloox should arrive either just this side or just the other side of the weekend.
  8. WHEN, I like that!!! When indeed TM, when indeed!! May be a while but I will cetainly do a stage by stage post so you guys can compare, compliment, critisice etc. Will be good to compare with you other Scaloox users. Right, I thinkit's beer o'clock, chow for now!!
  9. Ditto TM. I am really looking forward to getting it but yes the postage is a tad on the high side. Still from what I have seen and heard the price of the actual product seems cheap enough to start with so it does kind of even itself out doesn't it? Also ordered a catalogue from EMA to get some roofing for my current shed and ideas for some more.
  10. Below is an email Peter from Scaloox sent me after asking him a question about prices. They are not listed on the website www.scaloox.com because it contraveins ebay or something. He was very helpful and replied the same day for one question and the following day for a question through 'ask seller a question' link on ebay. Hope this is useful for some of you. Hi Tristan. Thanks for your email. We don't put prices on the website as it wouldn't be good policy with eBay to have links to our site offering the same items. But we welcome enquiries if what you require isn't included in current ebay listings. Product purchased as a 'special order' has to be fitted in to our other commitments, and to compensate for what might be a few days wait, we give a discount on eBay pricing. Current 'special order prices are: A '32-300' pack is ?6.50 + ?4.50 p&p A '32-600' pack is ?13 + ?5.50 p&p A '32-900' pack is ?19.50 + ?7.50 p&p Your previous enquiry of ordering two '32-600' sets would be a total of: ?26 + ?8 p&p. A CDrom is included with all jobbing pack orders for MS Windows 'Wordpad' program and is recommended for first-time users of Scaloox. If not required, deduct ?1 from order. Regards, Peter
  11. NH2 it certainly is. Been after ne for ages, could do with a replacement cab though which I am sorting out with a few other bits from farmmodels.co.uk as I have just found out they are just up the road from me. TW20's on the dump trailer and Bomford Superflow. One will be up for conversion in the future.
  12. Same here Powerstar. Now I am slowly but surely trying to collect all the hings I used to have when the prices are right. Boxed or unboxed, just depends on condition and price. Difficult when there are such excellent models being released nowadays though!! There was a second one on ebay coming up again soon. I'm chuffed to bits with mine, 13 quid at The Great Dorset Steam Fair this year. Wont be getting rid of it in a hurry as it is hand for the lagoons and such like!!
  13. Green flatbed and vicon mower aside these are my latest purchases. Trying to gather up a few of the oldies bit by bit for a few 'projects'.
  14. I have one of these and wondered if it may be of interest to anybody else. Heres the link, I'm very pleased with mine. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fiat-Hitachi-360-FH200-3-Die-Cast-Like-JCB-CAT-1-32_W0QQitemZ6983372145QQcategoryZ223QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  15. I like the John Deere in the background, whats the details on this model Christian?
  16. Going back to the first post, I cant seem to get them to print at the right size. Tried the options on the site and I get an A4 page with a section in the middle covering about half the area in brick. Thats not right is it?
  17. Yes, ditto. I'd like to know the answer too.
  18. Drop her down a cog driver!!! Look at the desiel coming out the chimney!!! :D
  19. What simple but stunning looking tractor!! That would look b-e-a-utiful with a hedge trimmer and a set of window guards. Not the Britain Spearhead though, I mean who'd buy a Spearhead?!!
  20. Yeah you got it MJB, never new the model, just that it was Farmhand and a mother!! Yeah the reach on them is unreal, not the strongest piece of kit and to find one these day without a recent weld-up is ucommon. A Britains 6600 badged up as a 5000 with one of these loaders would look flipping booootiful. I'd dare say it would even look hellish!!
  21. Yep, an original V8 at that too. A 150hp Perkins. Thats all I know, oh and this was a 1974 model the chap in the workshop said.
  22. Bugger!! So it's a ROS. Right, better make a note of that. Cheers mate.
