  1. Blimey, these boys even got the police to keep an eye on the machinery when it's being used!!!! Nice taster, looking forward to the main course now :)
  2. That's a beautiful little tractor!! Very nice, not often Britains parts get used in conversions these days. :)
  3. Transforms a simplistic toy into something much more nicer, Mandy :)
  4. Thanks for that Mark, nice things to say mate Sounds like this is going to drag on a while - the consultation period between notification and actual redundancy can take up to 12 weeks Traci has been told. It's off to the CAB tomorrow to see if she has to play along to get her payout or whether she'll forfeit it if she takes another job in the meantime should one be offered \ Five week month this week and so far. .. for me at least it is looking good with the numbers but yes certainly like you say it would be nice if we could enjoy it rather than have to watch the old purse strings too hard.
  5. Anyone got any tarmac to put down on their layout. ... and a small fortune?!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sumitomo-HA60W-Paver-1-32-MIB-/380246203193?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item5888709b39
  6. Had a day without work or working on the house today for a change. Had Traci's cousin who is a bricky come round, he is going to carry on chipping out the pointing as I am running out of time and the weather is turning. As the weather is affecting his work it will help us and help him out too. The usual Sunday visit from the inlaws and a quick trip for the weekly shop. Even got some modelling time in (Tim will be pleased!!).
  7. That's very nice, you have done what needed doing and done it well too.
  8. That's how I'd like to follow up the collection I have of what I have driven, with photos of the real machines.
  9. Step aside Challenger ... . what's the Ford in the first picture Johny?
  10. Nice Marshalls, Blake. Looks like they came out pretty well mate. As for the Kanes, no expert on them I'm afraid but I did see my first one the other day, a half pipe grain trailer on a farm near Bicester, Oxon. Mark you have been busy and it has certainly paid off, spot on with them three
  11. I'll just have to hope Howards buy one of these and hold on to it on the farm for a month so I can get a good drive! :)
  12. That 1455XL looks superb, is it a heavy model David or does require a light hand to hold?
  13. Who? We have used linseed straw for building spud clamps actually, forgot about that.
  14. Chopping linseed straw is nothing but a nightmare. It slows the combine down terribly and can be a nightmare for the chopper unit as it does not chop very well. Down here most people bale it with no net and then torch the 'bales'. It's useless straw for nearly anything. Rape straw can at least be laid under wheat straw when first bedding the sheds down in the winter.
  15. Have not updated this for quite some time but here is the latest episode of the harvesting being done this year by the new Gleaners. Interesting video and comparisons between the Gleaner and the competitors.
  16. Looks like the vario transmission is just about the standard gearbox now, Erik? You have made some stunning photos again, I like the one of the two NH's with trailers and the Steyr driving on the verge with it's muddy tyres. A lot of machinery moving around and hard at work there. Here we have rain and nothing is happening
  17. Nice updates, Blake. A nice gathering of blues and the silage pics look full on
  18. Off to my cousins wedding reception if Traci can ever bloody get ready Will be the first family do after the loss of both grandparents on that side of the family so while the anchors of the family may not be with us, our roots are still strong and I am very much looking forward to getting together to celebrate something good :)
