  1. I wouldnt know about prices but i know of a few farms around here who grow wheat for feeding. We dont ourselves though. Ours comes from two suppliers: Mole Valley for in the parlour and A.Nichols for outside with the silage. The outside also gets mixed with some high energy pellets that come in 25KG bags instead of bulk. The outside is also mixed with a little seaweed (another supplier for that) and fed to all of the youngstock in the mornings. it may seem a faff to some of you, possibly the non farmers, but it seems to work well. A downside is that there are a lot of reps to keep in touch with which can waste time at silage/straw time when theres a lot to organise and keep track of.

  2. Altough they are, without denying, a toy manufacturer, the pictures I've seen of the 2011 releases make it look like they are listening to some of the collectors out their and adding a bit more detail. That picture of the JCB look great but now I'm scared of getting it as it might not live up to my expectations.

  3. Ah ok  8)

The only downside I find with the models is that they have Beacons on the tractors but they don't work :(

I always thought that but I guess when the first remote controlled tractors came out the technology for small, working flashing lights might not have been there. As technology advanced they found it easier to do and put it in the lorries. It would be nice for the new tractors to have it though.

  4. Is it perhaps a lifrt axle and in the photo is in the raised position ??

Ah you beat me to it, that was going to be my sugestion.  ;)  I do like the look of it but not sure if i can allow the buget to strech that far.

  5. ??? What's the " disco ball " in the cab of the Axion, :-\

    Regards

    Joe.

It looks like the receiver that was used in the infrared tractors. I'm wondering if the picture is of the old claas infrared model.

  6. Hmm I can see me buying a lot more Repliagri stuff this year  ;) ;) ;)

Same for me.  :D not sure this year will be a safe spending year as originaly planned. Also find it a bit strange that they are bringing out 2 different self propelled sprayers.

  7. I'll be having a 175 please  ;D  any idea when they're due over here?

What's the mechanism on the linkage some kind of tow chain  :-::)

The mechanism is to transfer the weight of loaded trailers to the rear axle for better traction in wet conditions. I would guess that Lord F would have more information from his vast collection of leaflets and literature.

  8. I did my history controlled assesment in summer but it hasnt been marked yet.

Did you take triple science, I have physics on wed as well, and geog on thursday then im done for a few months ;D

Yeah i did triple science. after that i only have mocks exams until may when i have English. I am quite happy that my maths GSCE is out of the way tough as its one less compulsory subject to worry about even if i will have an exam on statistics in june or july.

  9. At our school there is a girl who is home schooled but has to come in for exams. This morning some people (including her) had a chemistry exam. about halfway through she must have decided that she didnt need to be silent like the rest of us and she decided to start clicking her pen. one of the exam invijilaters told her off but she kept going. When told off again she declared, atthe top of her voice that she was bored and didnt need to listen to a 'boring old **** who couldnt get a proper job'.  :ofShe then proceded to get out her phone and have a loud conversation with a friend. This caused her to be removed, but to make it a bit better, we were told that 5 marks would be added to our final score for that paper because of distractions.
